Incredible quirks

Noticed some things about the incredible so far.
1. The background keeps changing back to the default Verizon one when phone turns off. Weirdly if the default screen is blank (nothing on it) then it works fine.
2.There's only one setting for the flash - very bright with preflash for redeye. Can't seem to turn off preflash or adjust the flash to only use one led - yet.
3.I wish that touching the screen would turn it on rather than the on button.
4.Reception at my house is weak but the phone works, especially the data. Better than a RAZR phone I was using at work though since this phone is reliable.
5.Taking the battery out is a pain. Far better than an Iphone where it's not possible but the extended battery or a Seido extended battery would be a better choice.
6.There's no video player or media player under programs.

I agree about not having the video option, you have to go into photo's, then find the video's.

I also loaded all my pictures, about 800 of them, and scrolling through them all its choppy. Kind of a let down

Hi res pron will do that. Also use a class 6 card.

LMAO no porn, just old pictures from my Moto Droid. I just have the pictures on the on-board memory.

After I changed my background, it would revert to the stock background also. Re-Boot solved the problem.

One thing I noticed about the background is that when you change anything you have to save the scene to keep it, or it will change the background to the default.

Download No Lock and you can push the trackpad to wake up

Really? Pretty easy for me if you use your nail under the black arrow. I do think the phone is really thin though and can't wait for the HTC extended batt.

What do you mean? The videos on my sd card play fine out of the box.

Number 3 would make it very easy to drain the battery while keeping it in your pants pocket.

Anyone notice that it takes 2 clicks of the "Back" button to exit the GoogleVoice app?

First press of "Back" flashes the Home screen like it's going to close, then the inbox shows back up. Press "Back" again and it really closes.

Also, for Pandora - if you use the "Share" button (two arrows pointing NW/NE), a contact list comes up but it only shows 2-digit numbers, not names. Not phone number -- it's 2-digit numbers like 23, 53, 57, etc. I don't know if this is an Pandora bug in general, or a bug with Pandora on the Incredible.

That's not specific to the Incredible. It happens on my Droid as well.

It's a bug with the GV app.
