Hey Guys Just a Quick Help Please i'm buying a different smartphone (Yay) here are few of my choices can you guys help out with which one should i get?

1: Huawei Ascend G525
2: Huawei Ascend Y300
3: Sony Xperia E
4: Lenovo A516
5: Nokia Lumia 525
6: Acer Liquid Z3 Z130
7: Lenovo A850
8: Lenovo A706

That's All And No I Cannot Afford Moto G
Thanks :)

The Moto G would definitely be the phone to get if you could.

Being the odd ball of the group, the Nokia is a windows phone. And it doesn't look too great anyway. Most of the others have a small screen and low ram. Only about 3 of those phones look like they would provide a decent experience. Assuming the linked specs are right, the below 3 all are all quad core with an IPS screen 4.5 or greater.

Lenovo A850
This phone has the largest battery, but also the largest screen. That large screen my prove to be a double edge sword by sucking batter life.

It's cpu isn't listed. I assume a qualcomm like the others. It's clocked slightly higher, but that means nothing unless we know the chip.

Lenovo A706
This phone is a balance between the two in terms of screen size and battery. If the A850 is too big for your taste, I would probably chose this. It's also the lightest in weight.

Huawei Ascend G525
It's battery is smaller then what I would like for a phone like that. A bigger battery would probably make it better than the Lenovo A706.

If you were to add an aftermarket battery to the equation, then their differences become much more trivial. That is, if they even have removable batteries.

Which phone has the greatest community would be best. A good community provides good support. Giving a greater chance of ROMs, scripts, and other mods. Also, just plain better help with issues.

Other than just specs, a phone's screen size my deter you. Not everyone wants a 5.5 inch screen. Manufacturer skins may get in your way. Some people like them, others don't. There are also glitches to worry about. If a device has superior specs but its OS prevents you from full potential, then you're wasting your money.

Good Luck.

Moto G would be worth it if you could stretch your budget.

However out of that list I would go with the Huawei Ascend G525 , not very powerful but it will do the job and the screen is a reasonable size/resolution.

Lenovo A516 isn't bad either, slightly less powerful but not to sure about Mediatek chipset, lower resolution.

Lenovo A850 is an interesting device if you like them big and I like the design, but if size is a problem stick with the G525.

Nokia Lumia 525 isn't that bad but it's not an Android device

I wouldn't consider the rest.

Yes, you can root it. There are a few guides for rooting this device on Google.

One thing, i'm not sure it comes with the Play Store, but i'm sure you will find a way to install it.

If not, I'm sure we can help you with that.
Huh? it does not have Play Store in it? what kind of Android doesn't have play store -Confused- if it doesn't have play store its useless help?

If they've removed their own app store then surely they're replaced it with the Play Store via an update?

Otherwise users will be left with no app store at all. Need to speak to users of this device really to know what's included and what's not.

edit: It says on their website that you need to install the play store apk manually, they said they were going to add instructions for users on the website but I can't see any and this was dated a few months ago.

Sounds simple enough though, it's easy enough to get hold of the latest apk and install manually.

Yes, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Lenovo may have shipped an update with it already, i'd be surprised if they haven't but I have no experience with Lenovo so don't know how good they are with software updates.

Leaving users months with no app store at all seems ridiculous.

Sorry I'm not from the US, I can't think of any phones of the top of my head for under $150. You've introduced me to a few budget devices though, never heard of most of them until reading your post.

Plus I don't understand Russian so that video doesn't tell me anything, maybe it came with the play store pre-installed, maybe the play store came with an update, maybe he installed the play store himself like Lenovo advise on the website, maybe hes running a custom rom that includes the play store.

Pretty much what I expected really, at the that screen size a higher resolution would be preferred but 540 x 960 is not that bad imo.

If you want a sharper screen go with the one of the devices with the 4.5" Screen, like the Lenovo A820.
I'm fine with 540 x 960 Resolution since i don't really do that much of using of pixels o.o you can say i'm fine with this phone :D Thanks for helping me out i really appreciate it
