I bought a warp 4g on the Internet and it is on the way. so who can give me his IMEI,regards.

the number youre going to want if it is the warp 4g is actually the MEID, youll wanna make that clear to them or theyll tell you its not the right number, they apparently dont know their own devices very well lol

now, at the same time, giving them that number wont help im sure, i could be wrong, but i seriously doubt theyre going to do anything but tell you to ship it to them for repair and if they then see its been tampered with they may try to charge you money or just send it back broken, and plus if they were gonna give you the stock rom, why would they need a serial number??? my stock rom is the same as yours and the next guys and every zte warp 4g owner ever, all they need is the model name or number and they could give it to you but theyre giving you the run around as per their usual habits it seems

now, all that being said, why do you need a stock rom from them? we have copies of it floating around here, all youll need is clockworkmod which if you can get into FTM mode or android itself far enough to get to adb access is installable, once you have that youre pretty well good to go just flash one of the available roms and youre up and running again

I think they want it to flag it against warranty claims cuz if u NEED the ROM for anything, it HAS to have been rooted first.. Right? Root = an breach of T.O.S, aka: the birdie finger, lol

i was thinking that too actually, you could always give them random numbers that sound good, they dont seem to be able to check it judging by the fact that they couldnt even match mine to the correct device for my return... they had it saying that i was sending back a force with a serial number for a warp 4g, so as long as it sounds legit they should pass it lol. see what they say, if for no other reason than to screw with them

actually they arent that bad if you ask me... you are free to have your opinion but this phone is faster than the galaxy s2 and possibly even the s3 at a fraction of the price. their quality control is a bit lacking, so you get more duds, but theyll fix them for you free of charge. the main problem i have with zte is the lack of developer support, samsung has so many loyal devs they get everything the day stuff comes out, thats what i want for zte, we get that and they can be just as good or better than anything else out there in their class without spending half as much

So............
Bad quality control and Software issues, but it is a great phone?

2 people respond to my post saying the ZTE were bad phones and in defending ZTE they tell me that the quality control sucks (but hey they will fix the stuff that shouldn't have been a problem in the first place.)
Then the second person says the software has issues.

Why would anyone want to buy a phone like that?
You guys have me scratching my head...

They make good hardware at a low price. We make the software better, and end up with a high-end device for the price of a low-end device. Most importantly, we have fun doing it ;)

because it costs half as much as other brands and we dont use stock software...

hardware defects, they fix. software defects, we fix. ended up paying $100 for a zte that performs as well or better than a $2-300 htc or samsung. so i dont see why people woupdnt get that

out of the box they kinda suck but ive never kept anything the way it came out of the box in my life lol

The amount of people who even know what rooting means is pretty low, so for the majority of folks it's a crap pay phone. lol

Do a google search and it will reveal zte as the 3rd largest cellphone manufacturing company in the world...regardless of what your opinions may be...good hardware for a cheap price is a hands down win...its like intels i5 and i7 processors...theres really no need to buy the bigger more expensive one because of overclocking capability of the i5... what your arguing with is inevitable...zte phones will sell amazingly..as they have, and with the release of a phablet now no doubt zte will turn more and more eyes.

they might be the third largest, but its not because of quality, they churn out more devices than some of the major ones. and in other countries they have better devices, we kinda get their hand me downs. much like samsung but on a larger scale

as far as quality products released in the us, id rank it behind samsung, motorola, htc, and lg, pretty much all the major brands

they sell us unregulated crap at bargain basement prices, over in their own country they have all kinds of quad cores and stuff, probably alot more attention to detail on those flagship models but we never see them
