Hello guys

I'm new so just to say hi all and hopefully you can resolve my issue.

I noticed an update around a week back am guessing its the 4.3 that's many people on here have spoken about, since this update has been applied I no longer receive email notifications, I have also tried delete and re-adding the account?

any help would be appreciated?

Thanks

It is known that doing a factory reset after the 4.3 update solves a ton of issues known to us after updating.

Simply factory reset your phone after backing up anything you want such as pictures, music, videos, and factory reset, and then try everything again, and let us know.

If you only care about music, videos, and pictures, and you simply don't care if you download apps again, if you didn't already, just go to the following link, download and install the USB drivers from Samsung.

http://developer.samsung.com/android/tools-sdks/Samsung-Andorid-USB-Driver-for-Windows

Extract, and run that installation. Once it's done, then plug your phone into your computer via USB. Even though you just installed the official drivers, you may still have a message pop up saying found new hardware, or installing new drivers. That is normal and OK.

Once, that is all done, if you're on Windows, just click into " My Computer " and under your hard drive(s) and disc drives, you should see your phone. If you do not see your phone, make sure your screen is unlocked, and NOT on the lock screen, then the phone should pop up. You'll see your internal storage, and your external storage (SD Card ) if you have one. Your pictures will be located inside the DCIM folder either on the internal or external depending on where you have pictures set to save to. Normally, the camera will ask you to choose a location if you have a SD card in or you're accessing the camera for the first time.

Your Music, and Videos will be in their own Music, and Video folders. You can simply copy, and paste the folders to your computer, do the factory reset, and then hook the phone back to the computer, access everything the same way, and copy everything back over.

As Easy as breathing.
