lol so i made a move to sprint(knowing the incredible was coming out today)
but i went and got sprint yesterday

A hero(since i had the eris on verizon, i was pretty much familiar with it)

well funny thing is, i am temporarily suspending my verizon line
for 30 days to focus on sprint

However, my boyfriend decides he wants to buy me an incredible so imagine my surprise when i wake up to fedex at my door.

Hmm....
Now I am torn.
I got the hero, waiting for the Evo
on sprint
but I am actually kind of attached to the incredible
and it's only been 2 hours lol.
It's everything I wished the eris(and her) were and so so much more.

However, I've gotten a few force close over the past 15 minutes as well.
So idk about that...

I didn't have that many at one time on my eris for the months i had it.

But i love my phone
but I wish sprint would hurry up and announce the release date for the incredible...
I am hearing June 12-13
but we all know rumors...

But the incredible truly is incredible thus far :)

Correct. Stay with the incredible, sprint sucks

I agree, stay with the Incredible. There isn't a big difference between it and the EVO. Although the EVO has a 4.3" screen, it's a TFT screen and if you compare the AMOLED screen on the Incredible to the TFT of any other phone you'll notice a big difference in clarity and colour. Unless you have a need for a front facing camera or lack a media player for your TV I don't see a good reason to goto the EVO.

Stick with what you like, both phones are the same (spec wise) and compare the TFT to AMOLED and decide which you like best.

Stay with the Incredible. Verizon is sooo much better than sprint and not much more expensive.

The EVO is for kids that want to watch movies. If you really need that big of a screen and a KICKSTAND.. hilarious I know, then get a Zune HD or an Apple Touch.

It also is NOT, I repeat, is NOT the real 4g sprint is coming out with.

The real 4g is LTE being developed not to be ready until 2011 for phones, both by ATT and Verizon.

Sprint is jumping the gun with a 'enhanced 3g' (WiMax) that they try and all 4g. Waiting a few more months for a 4g capable phone is a huge mistake in my mind.

And who knows how much 4g will cost and by the time it is available everywhere it will be about 2013.

Stick with Best Network and Incredible is my opinion. The EVO is a teeny bopper phone. Incredible at least has a professional/classy aspect to it.

The 4G radio alone makes it a superior phone. But, bigger screen, front camera, HD video recording, HDMI out

Bigger screen? We like our slimmer smaller phones but thanks for trying. It's a teeny bopper phone with a kickstand.

No 4g until 2011 so don't let Sprint scam you - it's not actually 4g and its only in select (spotty) places.

3g enhanced WiMax. Google it.

LTE is the real deal and Verizon and ATT will be there before Sprint.

Believe it.

Objectively, the phone is better. The hardware itself. I am not refuting or debating that the Incredible is better because of the network. But, on paper, the Evo is a better phone. You can't argue with that. That's like you arguing that Vanessa Milano is ugly...it just can't be proven scientifically.

Ok...let's step outside of the box for a second and look at HDTV's. Obviously, the service provider has a huge impact on the quality of the HD. But, if you went into a store and saw two tv's, one had a ton more features including higher contrast ratio, 240hz, better sound, etc., you would say that television is superior, right? It's the same in this case, it's just that the service provider (sprint) renders the phone useless because of it's crappy network.

Well on paper of course - any phone that comes out 2-3 months later from the same manufacturer is going to have more features. That's technology 2010 (101 ;p).

You have a point on the TV - but it isn't completely comparable.

Yes you want a bigger TV, but do you want a bigger cell phone? Yes you get bigger screen size but not everyone wants that. I'd rather have a smaller slimmer phone.

I have the Zune HD - the battery life is about 10x a cell phone AT LEAST. I get all the HDMI and 720p and HD..

So personally I'd rather use the incredible for it's intentions and if I wanted an HD phone for watching movies with my kickstand.. well I'd do what I did, I got an actual HD media player - how are you going to answer calls or keep a battery life while watching an HD movie let alone get 1/4 way through?

Now you're just arguing different points. We're just talking about which phone is superior in terms of hardware. And the EVO has been out for quite some time now (there have been tons of reviews on it), just hasn't been released bc 4G isn't ready yet. But in any event, the screen size is preference, but contrast ratio, refresh rate, etc. is all relevant when determing what tv you want.

If you want to carry around 2 devices, be my guest. The incredible is more than enough for me. I wasn't arguing against it, I was just saying that OBJECTIVELY, the EVO is a better phone. However, coupled with their respective networks, I'd go with the Incredible.

That's it, that's all. I'm gonna go fap to some old school TRL videos of Vanessa Milano now.

Wait wait... Did you just call the Evo a "teeny bopper phone with a kickstand"? I mean... really?! I'm getting an Incredible and I'm going to love it, but come on...

Well, I am actually staying with Verizon....

I didn't realize i would get as much replies to this thread in the short time...

Sprint Customer service is horrible..
1)My account is in danger of being interrupted and it's only day 2.
Apparently, I have a spending limit of 150 dollars.
that's fine...

However, with all my charges for a first month im at 147.97
and she wants me to pay fifty to get it down
but im not sure if i want to pay for a network that i may not keep...not just yet.

i think it's stupid, i am in danger of having my phone cut off and it's not even been a full 2 days lmfao

2)I am experiencing Dropped calls and roaming and i was told you can roam free but if you roam too much...you contract can and will be terminated

Verizon...never had these problems

And i just saw the wi-max coverage...i live in jersey....and i didn't see any coverage in my area
so def will be sticking with verizon for now i guess
