6442191[/URL]]Thanks for the info! I got the S4 from T Mobile today but it overheats & won't charge when I stream Netflix on Miracast. Have either of you experienced the same thing? I returned a LG G2 for the same reason today. I thought it was just that phone or brand. Apparently it's not!

What is the temp. when over heating? What is the screen brightness on, when your streaming? Is the phone charging while your streaming?

The screen brightness is set to automatic. I have tried it while charging & not charging, both with the same result. You're the second person to tell me it works fine streaming directly to a Samsung tv. I wonder how connecting to a receiver could make a difference. Very odd!

slightly off topic, but of those guys using screen mirror on you tvs..

Does anyone notice a bit of a lag from phone sreen to tv screen? Obviously this is ok with photos and videos but its annoying when trying to play a game

Cheers, Crofty

I have noticed that. On my Note 2 it fixed itself after the first couple of times I used screen mirroring.

I'm using the Netgear Push2TV receiver/dongle. I previously used the Samsung Allshare Cast Hub with my Note 2 but it didn't want to play nice with the G2 I originally upgraded to. I have not tried it with the S4 but it's almost double the price so if you're looking for an alternative to what you're trying to use now I'd suggest the Netgear.

Thanks for your help & recommendations!

Let me know if you have any success mirroring the S4 to your Netgear Push2TV. I think screen mirroring is not possible on the S4. On a Feb 1st review of Samsung's AllShare Cast Wireless Hub, a reviewer writes of the same problems on the Samsung Hub as I have with my Wireless Screenbeam Pro: Reviews & Ratings - Cell Phone Accessories EAD-T10JDE | Samsung Cell Phones

I am able to mirror my phone to my tv with the Netgear. My only complaint is that the phone heats up quite a bit if I'm using my data connection instead of wifi as my data source. Netflix also has a slight delay when it's streaming but no other programs do. Before I upgraded my phone I was using the Samsung hub & had a lot of problems. The Note 2 I was using was a replacement & that's when the problems started. I'm assuming my problems were with the phone & not the hub but I don't know for sure.

Just to clarify, when you mention your phone, you're referring to mirroring the S4 and it's running Android 4.3, correct?

Thanks for all your information!

Whiskeypawz,

Few more questions...what is the Model # for your S4...Settings--More--About Phone--Model #.

Mine is the SCH-I545 (Verizon S4). I found where my particular model # is not Miracast compliant here: http://android-minipc.azurewebsites...ast-fails-to-mirror-samsung-galaxy-s4-screen/
Samsung Support in a tweet even confirms my particular Model is only
designed to work with the Samsung AllShare Dongle: http://android-minipc.azurewebsites.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/SamsungMirroringNonCompliant.png

Again, thanks for your help!
