Ok Guy's it looks like I might be keeping this phone. and now before I make the final decision are there any cases I can use to beef this thing up a little.
my hands are a little large, and just looking to get something that would make it easier to work with.;)
thanks

I have the body glove case and i cannot stand using my hero without it, for the same reason, my hands are very large and the phone really just feels too small otherwise. Additionally, the body glove case is pretty rugged, i have chunked my phone as hard as i could and all that happened is my phone ended up disassembled, battery cover, battery, sd card and the 2 body glove pieces, that i had to put all back together. obviously, your mileage may vary, but without this case, i wouldn't be able to stand using this phone, it gives me thumb cramps. with the case i don't have any issues carrying the phone in my pocket or anything.

i have both the body glove AND the commuter case from OtterBox.

personally, i like the commuter case better due to the mini-usb and headphone jack covers, price, and the size. It is slightly smaller than the body glove case. i do like the texture of the bodyglove case vs the otterbox, but that is just person preferance. Also, i feel the phone is easer to hold and function with one hand when you have a case on it vs a naked hero.

just my $.02

SilHero, is there any way you could take a side shot of your phone against a light colored background (white, light beige, anything) so that I may see how thick it makes the phone from stock? If so, would you be so kind as to post the pictures? I would be in eternal favor of you, and would give you a cookie. And love.

Did you want to protect your phone or just beef it up? Since the Otterbox doesn't come with a clip I was gonna suggest this battery so you could kill 2 birds with one stone, beefing up the phone & way better battery life.

Edit: Oops, guess I waited too long to press "post" (Damn angus burger) Enjoy your purchase.

That's one expensive battery!!! I went with the Seidio 3500, and it was almost $40 less! But the battery cover doesn't look so close to the stock one, like your link.

Seidio is ok until you drop it on the concrete and it opens up and your Hero pops out. Otterbox commuter hands down. IMO

I dropped my Hero for the first time a few days ago with the OB commuter on it. Dropped from 4-5 feet landed on the corner onto a tile floor, I barely heard it hit. I was very impressed and have no worries about dropping my Hero anymore.
