It would be helpful if you guys could reply with your:

SD card maker (brand name):

SD card size (e.g. 2GB):

SD card class (e.g. Class 4):

Do you have issues with it becoming corrupted?

Do you connect the phone and transfer files via USB?

Are there any other things that happen consistently around the time your card fails?

Thanks so much your your responses.

originally:
SD card maker (brand name): SanDisk

SD card size (e.g. 2GB): 2GB

SD card class (e.g. Class 4): 2

Do you have issues with it becoming corrupted? Never

Do you connect the phone and transfer files via USB? All the time for flashing charging transfering files

Are there any other things that happen consistently around the time your card fails? nope never failed but every now and again would unmount, but no ill effects other than resetting ringtones.

Now:

SD card size (e.g. 2GB): 4GB

SD card class (e.g. Class 4): 2

Do you have issues with it becoming corrupted? Never, never unmounts either

Do you connect the phone and transfer files via USB? all the time

Are there any other things that happen consistently around the time your card fails? never happens

1st card was sandisk 2 gb, class 2 from my blackberry. 2nd was sandisk 2 gb, class 2 that came with my sb2. Unmounted daily and even hourly. Seemed that it was fine as long as I was on the phone, but in my pocket or not in use my sd notification would go off.

3rd was PNY 8 gb, class 4. Worked fine over night, but started unmounting not even 12 hours later. Worked fine while using or connected to charger or computer.

Now Centon 8gb, class 6. Got it Thu and put card right into my phone. I have yet to hook it up to my computer, all ringtones, pics and mp3's have been loaded via email or mobile web, but not a single unmounting so far. It is Mon now so 4 days and going great.

The 1st 3 cards corrupted several times. I kept reformatting them by phone and using fat32 on computer. Also used usb to transfer files on the 1st 3.
