Any word on the dialer lag and no sound/can't hear dialtone bug?

Dialer seems pretty snappy to me so far, then again I don't have any calls recieved yet to test anything else. This may be a placebo effect on me with a new version of 2.1, but it does feel snappier to me.

I suspect it will take a while to show up. It took a while last time, although now we're more aware of the symptoms.

No.

I've seen quite a few things start here rather than there, and vice versa.

Considering how the devs from there that fixed the broken 2.1 beta 1 file are also members here, yet still decided to report it on XDA, I'm going to wait until someone from XDA says something.

Call problem with no sound instantly started up again when I installed. I'm done with this phone. Think ill tell verizon to take off my data plan and ill sell this junk and go back to dumbphone. Also got my second refurb with a scratch on the screen. Screw htc and the Eris.

Yes, if you have the 2.1 V2 on your SD card then you have to remove it for the 2.1 V3 to work.

Can anyone that has loaded this say if they fixed the crappy quality issues with the synced facebook images in both the people app and the phone?

At first, all were pixelated. However, some have become clear after a few minutes. Still some are pixelated.

Working well so far snappy like leak one for me. Time will tell but it wont brick your phone and a couple bugs are gone from what i can sed. See how battery is tomorrow since I have data from leak 2 adventure

Ok so I really want to get this new leak but I have a few questions. If I follow the tutorial that you have to get this and I download it will I be rooting my phone? Because I do NOT want to root my phone. Also if I do this update will it void my warranty? And if I need to backup my files what should I back it up with? Because others said to use AppBrain because I will still get updates from market place, is this true? And are there any known problems with this? I really just don't want to mess up my new phone.

Ok so I am sorry that I posted all of that above and I got it resolved and I am really excited about getting this..I do in fact have ONE more thing to ask. I understand that I put this update on my SD card. I have aout 4.9 GB left on my SD card because I put ALL of my music on it. How much space will this update take up on my SD card? And after I fully update my phone and its working fine..can I take the update or .zip off my phone?

For some reason, my google contacts aren't syncing. I suspect it may have something to do with "mybackup" which I erased after restoring my info. Anyone else having this issue?

It was something OTD posted by which setting your phone to "Airplane" mode (while phone is asleep and charging) may reset the % time without signal", and may help battery life and signal. Seems to work; however, my signal meter still seems to have a mind of its own.
