Pictures on Contacts

Settings > Accounts & Sync > Add Account > Facebook For HTC Sense

I think if you sync with Facebook For HTC Sense, it will just sync with your current contacts. If you sync with "Facebook" alone, it might add every one of your friends from facebook to your contacts. I think.

If some of your contacts picture doesnt appear, you can do directly to that person and sync it manually with facebook.

Unfortunately you are thinking the opposite ... sync with FB for HTC Sense and it snycs with current contacts, brings in pictures, and ADDS all other FB contacts (which is annoying).

You cannot sync with regular "Facebook" alone.

Yeah. I don't want to sync all of Facebook in my contacts. All I want to do is get a picture for each one of my contacts the simplest way. Do you think that adding a photo from Facebook on the computer into the DCMI file and then using that photo for contacts is the easiest way? I couldn't figure out htcghost's way because I couldn't get anything to pop up when I long held the person's photo on Facebook.

You have to go into your contact list and long hold the persons name there, not in Facebook.... but yeah easiest way would be to put photos on micro SD card or internal storage and long click on persons name IN PHONE CONTACTS and point it to the appropriate picture

Really? Cause it has two options when you choose "Add Account" it shows "Facebook with HTC Sense," and "Facebook" alone. I synced with "Facebook with HTC Sense" and my contacts that are synced are only the contacts I've added myself, not any of the FB friends that I didn't add myself are in there and was not added. hmmm...wonder why it worked for me.

Are you looking at the People view? If so, that would be the case.

When you touch the phone icon or do a contact search (at least in my case) it brings up ALL my Facebook (and regular phone) contacts.

Do you know if deleting the photos after I put them on as their contact photo will delete the contact photo also? I don't want to have their pictures on my phone forever just to have them in my contact photos.
