Hi, I am trying to take handwritting text and convert it to text in the S Note Program but for some reason it will not let me. I am trying to log my work hours using S Note for each day of the week but it wont let me. I tried using the air command feature as it will only let you use the action command to send that handwritten text as an e-mail or text, ext.. but not convert it to actual text. Even if say I try to hand write a text message to someone it wont convert the hadwritting into text. I have also had some trouble copying and pasting text off the internet into a text message.

1. Install MyScript Stylus Beta from the Google Play store (it's a keyboard which let's you write with the S Pen and it automatically converts your writing to text on the screen.

2. Write scruffy or neat handwriting on the screen inside MyScript Stylus Beta and watch it convert to text automagically.

3. Feel the win.

A video I made using the MyScript Stylus Beta keyboard and S Note demonstrating the smart text recognition to change handwriting to dates/email addresses which you can click on/hyperlinks which you can click on etc.

The Samsung keyboard has its own built in handwriting recognition mode too

Thanks for the reply, I installed the MyScript Stylus Beta and will try it out and let you know how it works. From the looks of it this program does exactly what I was wanting to do.

You can definitely paste text into it - just long-press where you want to paste, the Paste icon comes up and press it. (It has to be text, not a picture of text - it's sometimes hard to tell on a web page.)
Yeah I think this might have been part of the problem when I went on this website, was that it was a image of text and not actual text which is hard to tell.

1. Use Scrapbook to take text a screen into Scrapbook
2. Open Scrapbook choose the picture you just screened & share that picture with the Google Goggles application available from the Google Play store
3. Keep calm & keep winning

If you already have a picture not taken with the Scrapbook application, then install Google Google application from the Google Play store and open it.

Then click on the camera icon, then press the menu button, after which you will see an icon that looks very similar to the gallery icon, the second from left out of the 4 icons that pops up after you press the menu button.

This will then open the gallery where you can choose a picture you already have. Then Google Goggles will scan it for text content.
