Hi!
When i updating my Sony Ericsson Xperia mini OS it automatically download McAfee Android security app, i just launch it but now i don't want it. Because of i already have another security apps, so i uninstalled McAfee according to this guidelines (in here), and it display successfully uninstalled. But if i restart my phone, this application again appear then i again follow that method but again McAfee security app appear. So how do i permanently remove this application?

Thanks!

Another way to uninstall apps is to uninstall through the Market. Open the Market, push your menu button, then select "My Apps". Scroll through your installed apps to find McAfee. Select it and make sure Auto update is unchecked. Then press Uninstall.

If this app is actually a system app, you will not be able to remove it without rooting. Please see your phone's forum subsection for more details.

Hi grummbunger, and welcome to Android Forums :)

Assuming that the Mcafee app in question is "McAfee Antivirus & Security", the package name should be com.wsandroid.suite.apk.

Hope this helps

sweet ty for responce, but i figured out how to get it out. tho the.com is probibly still there.
i had to remove mcfe as admin, then goto running apps (in the system) find the mcafee that was launching, and instead of force stopping it, i had to disable it. (problem was:uninstall via the menu within the program did not succeed. only uninstall updates was at shop)
