Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] Official LiquidSmooth Nightlies!!

I have the newest philz. Double checked. It must be a bad download. I'll try to download again after their site is back up. Keeps saying their nightly page is down. Btw on the set up do you just let it it sit on the activation screen or skip it? And do you still have to flash the 4g fix or do unified builds not need it? Thanks.

I skip it.

As a matter of fact. I skip all sign ins and let the phone boot completely up. I then go back in and sign in to everything.

Yes. You will have to flash the 4g fix even with the d2lte build bro. I wipe cache and Dalvik when flashing it also.

I always skip all sign ins as well. I've noticed on most roms. At least on sense. It will auto download all your apps if you sign in at the beginning. Annoying as hell.
You flash it at the same time though, as the rom? And leave the phone in cdma and not cdma/lte still if I'm not mistaken.

I flash the ROM and GAPPS 1ST. I then go back after I've fully set my phone up and flash the 4g fix. I do that because I don't have 4g at the house and use my home wifi. If you have good 4g in your area, I would flash the ROM and GAPPS and let the phone boot up. I would then go back and flash the 4g fix. That 4g would come in handy when downloading app updates and stuff.

I love MIUI. It was the first rom I flashed and was able to get 4g and mms working. I was in heaven. I'll probably go back to it at some point. Only annoying thing is that I kept getting the phantom vm notification.

Edit: When did they start charging for MIUI themes? Semi rhetorical. lol

Very nice. Nice to know there is a MIUI ROM out there that runs well. This is good knows for all the MIUI lovers for sure. I'll definitely need to get this added to the ROM thread when I get in front of my pc.

Thanks for the info, guys.

Here's the one I used and got everything working on. I'm actually going to flash it here again in a moment and mess with it again.

[ROM][4.2.2] MIUI V5 4.2.14 d2spr - xda-developers

AND I'm done hijacking the thread. I promise. Apologies all around. :)

I see that there is a new nightly today. Have not tried it yet. This Quantum Kernel has been running great. Got awesome battery life today at work. BlueTooth ran very solid. Not sure about Wifi yet. Got fast LTE in the usual spots. Stayed on eHRPD most of the day.

I use wifi all the time and it's solid bro.

Thanks for the heads up on the new build. I was just getting ready to check it.

When they realized people would actually pay for themes and they could make money lol

Yeah I loved miui since I first flashed it love at first flash lol but I'm just kinda upset there hasn't been any updates to it I don't want to run jellybeans I would like to see kikkat and I know they'll add some awesome custom features or at least if we're stuck on jellybeans 4.3 would be cool lol

Man, that bites that they've started charging for the themes. At least there are a few free ones available.

I checked out Omni ROM and it looks interesting. I also added it to the ROM thread. Thanks for the heads up and that you've tested it.

Yeah only the basic basic ones are free maybe a few cool ones but almost all the advanced and really nice looking themes are paid which blows, but I'm not mad at them they saw an opportunity and took it lol

No problem I'm going to be testing everything that comes out I'm currently getting ready to test testing paranoid Android rom beta version 4.2 with the new peak feature

Hey guys, I got the latest nightly and cant get mms to work, on some roms I can go into APN settings and change it to mm.myboostmobile.com and that usually does the trick, but im not seeing voice dialer. Any ideas?

Nova Launcher (I believe Apex offers the same option), long press blank spot on home screen, then from the pop-up menus:

Shortcuts/Activities/Settings/APNs

This will place an icon on your home screen that allows access to the APN settings. Alternatively, EvolveSMS and ChompSMS offer in-app APN settings.

Thanks using the Apex settings I was able to get into the APN. :D Here is what I found. You can edit the settings and get picture mail working. If you flash the APN / Data fix it removes the settings, meaning if you get into the APN settings its completely blank. So if anyone on the boost mobile side was able to get picture mail working with the stock messaging app, please let me know.

Until then im stuck on CM 10.2 which runs absolutely perfect, except no 4G after disconnecting from Wifi, even after flashing the APN / Data fix.

I did the apn shortcut on my phone running MOAR. And doing so I found that my apn is "n.boost.ispn" don't know if that's useful or not
