Sorry for all questions but searches have not given me needed info.

Looking for a guide on how to use task killer. I had task killer on and deleted it. I think I was killing tasks that were needed to keep certain functions running that I use frequently. If someone would take the time to help me understand how to use one, I think I would be much more successful with it.

example - text messaging just stopped ( werrent receiving them ) . Once I took task killer off, everything started working again.

I appreciate any help

appreciate that. I think my problem as not with the actual app but how to use it. I dont know to effectively use a task killer. Any ideas? Any guides out there

thats why i said use task manager.....youll see.... There is 2 things u dont kill in that, 1) htc sense 2)phone....(the icon is a phone with base) not just the reciever.
They way you kill it is long press for ex. Messages a window that pops up says stop....push stop and it goes away, when your done long press task manager icon and stop that also, that will bring u back to the home screen.

With Task manager, you can also set the Stop Mode by pressing menu. I have mine set to Stop More Than one. You can tap multiple things to close and once you have them selected (they grey out when you tap them), you press menu - > stop to close.

I find that's easier for me than holding each item I want to close..
