Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] [Rom][Stock/CM]Psycho Billy Cyanogen Flavored Rom 4.1.2

Dsp manager FC everytime. Deleted it and tried to install a different eq but if wouldn't function said there was another audio effect preventing it from functioning. Is there a way to remove qslide from notification bar? I tried the method posted but it wouldn't work thought it might be because it's a modified stock rom

To fix the DSP FC, I would perform a wipe data/ factory reset and wipe dalvik cache in cwm. That should fix that issue

I dont know how to remove qslide from the drop down. I would follow that thread.

I'm working on trying to replace the systemui and settings but im coming up short. I need to dig into the kernel. I'm currently working on an update to this that will remove allot of the lg bloat. I'm finished but have a small issue. Once finished I'll post it.

Thank you! This is outstanding and I'm looking forward to your work!

One issue I'm having, and I don't know what it's from, is while I have space on the device, over 800MB, it can't install several apps. Usually, I can bypass this by using the APK directly, but even that won't work. Any thoughts on how to fix that? Some apps, like Pandora, Skype, and Google Play are fine. Others like Spotify and Google Drive just won't install.

I've installed both Google drive and spotify. I haven't been able to reproduce that error. Anyone else encounter this error?

Not me. I've installed spotify and apps from link2sd to Final Fantasy 4.

I can't seem to access the security tab of my settings. I know this isn't ROM specific as it happened on stock, but I'm confused as to why it persisted across a ROM flash

My security tab is working just fine. Did you do a clean flash?

My security settings are working fine also. I'm curious to find out if you did a clean or dirty flash as well.
I'm thinking old remnants are conflicting with what is there now.

If you did a clean flash I'll have to modify the updater script to wipe partitions using dd & /dev/zero to scrub them clean. Forcing an absolute clean install.

how do i remove the system update notification?

1. Install free System Tuner
2. Go to Startups
3. Click on Google Services Framework (Don't uncheck)
4. Uncheck SystemUpdateInstallDialog and SystemUpdateInstallDownloadDialog

For those that don't want all the functionality of System Tuner you can download an app called Disable Service. It will do the same thing but that's all it does. Go to System Apps, Scroll down to Google Services Framework, uncheck SystemUpdateService.

Clean flashed the update. Now I get an FC when I select Home Screen in settings. All other options open fine.
