Help Help! Video record no long works on camera

Been trying to use video recorder since updating to kitkat, but when I hit the record button in the camera it just pops up a brief message that says "Warning - Recording Failed" and goes back to the phone home screen. The camera mode works fine still...it's just when I hit the video record icon when in the camera app that it ceases to work.

Anyone else with this issue?

Only advice I can offer is to do a full factory reset, wiping the cache in the process, I always do this after a major update such as Kitkat.

This right here is the only answer many of us would also say.

To the OP~ Some issues exceed our scope making a hard reset the best option to get rid of glitches after updates.
