Hello,

New in town so hello to you all and a big thanks to the site owners for such a great site, and to all you contributors to which we owe so much.

I received my new Desire yesterday and so far am well impressed.

I am struggling with the contacts. It is set last name first but I would like it to be first name last name. I can't see how to change this, any tips here?

Can anyone suggest a decent photo management application as the HTC one seems pretty basic.

Thanks.

It is first name, last name. Did you import your contacts from a previous phone? If so it may have messed up the contacts names, with them being entered backwards. Have a check.

What are you looking for in photo management? Editing or viewing?

Check this for viewing: Add The Nexus One Gallery to HTC Phones Nimbu
Or search the market for the app called "PicSay" for editing

Thanks guys,

Yes I copied my contact from my SE C905 to the SIM, swapped the SIM to the desire. I tried sync'ing to Outlook but I still end up with last name first name. I'll delete them all and have another go. Thanks,

For the photo's it's for viewing really. I'll have a look at the Nexus One gallery, many thanks.

Just watched the video of the Adobe Photoshop Android app. Now that is good.

Many thanks again,

Got to agree about picsay but I went with the Pro version. Quality app :)
