OK Folks..... the information in this post has been copied directly from MopedRyder's thread over in the VM section.

Here is a link to his original thread.

[GAPPS][4.4.x/4.3.x] OFFICIAL 0-Day PA-GOOGLE APPS (All ROM's) [2014-03-07] - xda-developers

COMADOSE MOD- This mod is a great addition to most any ROM. Remember to make a backup before flashing it. :D

[MOD][TWEAK-PACK][2-17-14][S3] ComaDose A Collection Of The Best, By The Best - xda-developers

FLASH:

Do your factory reset. If running Philz Recovery, select the new ROM option.
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik
Flash AOKP ROM
Flash GAAPS
Flash APN Fix
Flash Kernel (Optional)

From struckn:
"PS: When installing this (or any other d2lte ROM) for the first time, or if doing a clean install coming from a previous nightly, SKIP THE INITIAL DATA ACTIVATION. It doesn't apply to users on VM/Boost, and just causes issues and confusion if you let it run its course. We achieve data via an APN fix, since we are still somewhat bastard children due to not being on one of the big carriers. However, ironically enough, a lot of users on those carriers have experienced a taste of what we have been dealing with since day one, due to the unified builds messing with their APN's and data. It is some consolation that we were able to run builds that baffled those users, due to having always had an APN solution available!"

Checking this one out. Working great so far.

I just got through flashing AOKP. I went ahead and flashed the newest dkp kernel too. AOKP is one of my all time favorite ROMs and It sure feels good to be running it again. If the testing goes well I'm probably going to stay with it. It has to pass the 4g test 1st. Hopefully it'll pick 4g up easily on my next trip to Bakersfield.

If not, I have no problem with running MOAR. It's one helluva ROM too.

Bro.... I absolutely love this ROM!!! I have since the 1st time I ever ran it. It runs great, doesn't have a bunch of stuff added that I'll never use, and best of all.... 4G works for me!! :D

Are you running the stock kernel or did you go with another?

Love the slim aspect also.

Stock kernel

I've switched over to the dkp kernel when I started running AOSP ROMs on a frequent basis. Before then I was running the KT747 kernel most of the time. Since finding out how well dkp ran on AOSP, it's been my kernel of choice. There are some great kernels out there for AOSP but I always find myself returning to dkp. I've had some trouble getting a few of the others to flash with different ROMs. I've never had that problem with Decimalman's work. ;)

Love me some ktoonsez. Was awesome on the s4.

But this s3 hasn't liked it too much really. Just get issues

Will have to give DKP a shot.

Thanks man will download it now.

Edit: installed!

You'll now have a lot more options than the stock kernel had. You'll also be able to set your min lower too. That'll help save some juice. You've got a lot more govs and you'll be able to overclock if you choose to do so. I rarely do but once in awhile I'll crank this baby up. Lol.

I hope you like it.

I don't OC too often. Unless playing a game. I have the min under 100, that's awesome!

I'm downloading aokp now setting up to flash this rom it has the wetbicker approval so it's a go lol I know you only speak so highly of liquid smooth and wicked sensation so I'll give this a run

Plus I'm getting a lot of ui crashes on ls even though I didn't dirty flash any of the builds after 4/20 I ran

Didn't have issues with LS. But definitely like the lighter weight AOKP with DKP. Definitely a good find, biker.

I'm the same way. I rarely OC but it's nice to have the option if needed.
I do drop my min down though. Right now I'm set at 270000 and it's running great. :)

Thanks and glad you're liking it. The dkp kernel is definitely a nice addition too. I've been running the combo for several days now with no issues at all.

It was nice to see how easily it picks up 4g with the APN fix too. For some reason I've had issues picking up 4g with other 4.4.2 ROMs. Not with this one. It was picking up 4g before I even made it into the city. That was definitely a nice surprise. :)
