Root [Boost Mobile] Finally installed Slim Kat

That's fine things change.
I'll keep that in mind and and if its one particular
ROM or subject try to stick to one thread.
Sometimes using more than one forum
You forget which rules are for which forum.

This rule is pretty much the norm is every Android forum I've ever been a part of.

If you have a question about a ROM, ask that question in THE ROM THREAD. Do not waste space clogging up the section with questions about a ROM that has its own specific thread for downloads, QUESTIONS, mods, etc. Come on bro. Think and use your resources wisely.

I've been chilling on this for awhile but it's time something was said. Don't take this the wrong way either. We are hear to help you. We just like people to help themselves with the information that's already available. You have not been doing that. The Boost and VM sections here at Android Forums provide a wealth of information. TheBritton, Struckn, Jdsingle, MopedRyder, Smith, and others along with myself have spent a lot of time creating threads here linking you to the a vast majority of the basic information a member will need.

Since day one you've been relying on the section like a crutch because you aren't searching and doing the homework needed to fix issues with your phone. As you can tell......... many members of this section expect a certain amount of forum courtesy which you just haven't been giving. Grow and learn to be a responsible device owner. If you are going to mod your phone, for crying out loud, the VERY least you should know is where your ROM's thread is located. I'm serious dude. That's part of the basic ABC's of modding. That what bookmarks in your browser are for or the subscribe option in the forum apps......... they're there to mark sites that are important. A ROM you are runnings thread is most definitely bookmark/subscribe worthy.

As I said, don't take this the wrong way. This isn't meant to embarrass you or anything like that. I'm trying to help get you on the right track around here before you are blackballed and no one will even answer your questions at all. Trust me..... that's exactly where you are headed. I want you to just take a moment and look back over all the recent threads in the rooted section. Do you see what I see?

My 2 cents. Use it, grow, and become a responsible member....... or don't. Your choice. I hope you take a minute to think about what I've just written and let it sink in.

Thanks and have a good day.

Now another major issue voicemail doesn't work

It dial it says voicemail but I get a busy signal.

How do I determine if this is a Slimkat or a boost issue.

Like do I have to flash back to stock get voice mail working and flash back to slimkat?

Is this on boosts end I contacted them today and got a ticket number.

If you cannot access your voicemail by longpressing 1 on your dialer then something isn't right. Some ROMs have settings for your voicemail #. Slim may need you to enter your #.

Have you tried flashing a backup of a different ROM just to make sure it is your voicemail. That's the easiest way I know to see if it's the ROM or Boost.

Well I have a nandroid of stock and a nandroid of slimkat and jdsinge zip files on my SD card that I never flashed. Everything else is working beautiful.
I can live without voicemail for a little while.

I put in a ticket to boost I guess if they make changes and it still doesn't work I could flash JD single or reflash my stock nan droid.

I'm currently working so I haven't checked voicemail in a while. If I lose my job again I would need it working sooner.
