Help New to android - Galaxy S5

I am new to android. I have a galaxy S5. I had iPhones and most recently the Lumia 920, but I needed some apps that are not available on my windows phone. I liked the windows phone live tiles and onedrive integration, oh well.

Perhaps some of you can help me with some things I want to change.

1) Get rid of the ugly teal background (commit to green or blue!! lol)
2) Split mail notification, one inbox icon for work and one for personal

Those are off the top of my head.

There is a Windows 8 theme you can download from the Play store. Not really windows 8 but may bring nostalgia back. Best reviews are for WP Touched Theme.

I always just turn off my flash and cover the lens and take a picture and set it as the background. Black uses less battery and it makes the apps jump out to me.

What I want to change is the default colors, like the teal and gold in chat.

The colors are truly horrendous. Its almost a distraction to me.

Download some themes from the Google Play, should change all that depending on the theme.

The default art colors of team and a gold/yellow is still there. I've tried a couple themes. Any suggestions?
