PDroid app isn't necessary. We have PDroid patches baked into the ROM. We've also got pretty much every feature any xposed module could provide outside of Theme Chooser. Xposed causes a ton of issues because of the modified framework. That's why it's recommended that you don't use it.

The quiz is kind of a trick question since both models are the same.

I know what you mean though. :p

I have no intentions of stopping support for any Nexus device that I own or will own. If anything, my list of supported devices will just continue to grow.

FYI....................I have flashed the 5/13 test version of DU. I have Exposed 2.6 installed and Ultimate Navbar installed as a framework module. I do this because it appears your rom does not support any type of navbar. I might be wrong. When I enable the navbar function in DU the navbar disappears but I have no idea how to enable it so I can use the phone. ????

The reason I do this is to gain the extra screen environment that I would otherwise not see and be able to use.

I currently have no issues whatsoever with my phone. Knock on wood I suppose?

The only thing that does not work, which I believe is not a Xposed issue, is when I d'/loaded the Google Camera app, the HDR function will not work. The app just closes after a brief statement that the camera has stopped.

Can you tell me a bit about this Ultimate Navbar? I'm currently using Pie, which I really like, to get that screen space.

Yeah, it is very easy indeed to set up. It uses a small diamond shaped trigger that can be placed anywhere you want on your screen. I find it best to have it as large as it will allow and on the lower right of the screen.
You just place your finger on the "trigger" and the 3 navigation buttons appear allowing you to go back, go home, or look at the apps in memory.

It works in all apps, gallery, racing, cards etc.

It is an Xposed module however so you have to have Xposed loaded in your phone. AS I said though, I do not have any issues I guess.

You can see the trigger in the lower right corner.

You can enable the navi bar immersive mode by adding the expanded desktop to the quick settings menu.
Then change it from Normal to Expanded.
When expanded desktop/immersive mode is enabled all you have to do is just touch the bottom of the screen where the navi bar is normally and swipe upwards and the navigation keys will appear and you do the same for the status bar... Except you swipe from the top of the screen downwards.

I think the HDR is a gapps issue. Try a different version of gapps. If I remember correctly, when I used the micro gapps it worked fine. Right now I'm using the DU TBO gapps and HDR FC's when I try to open it.

I have used this method in the past however, I prefer Pie at the moment because I like having the status bar visible.

You should be able to turn notifications on for the community, but I'm not sure if you can limit it to just the announcements section where new ROMS are posted or not. I'm pretty green with G+

Cheers :) I had previously turned notifications off for DU because I was over getting emails all the time, I'll have to weigh deleting emails all the time vs. remembering to check the page erry day or so. As it is I only ever go to G+ to get DU test builds :)

FYI..........

Just "dirty" flashed (thanks Hook) 5/21. All works 100% so far :)

Still no camera HDR no matter which Gapps I use? Oh well..........don't use the camera much anyway. When I do it is 99.9% for the PC anyway so resolution is not a big deal.

Thanks to the DU team :):)

Try clean flashing, dude. HDR mode is working fine.

OK Hitman...............

Your obviously the guy that knows so.................. I did a clean flash, had to wipe twice and reload pa gapps twice but got things working. I followed xdrc45's recommendation and am using immersive mode instead of Ultimate Nav Bar.

I am NOT running Xposed following Hitman's recommendations. So far am very happy with things. The HDR is working 100%. Had an issue with the google keyboard stopping constantly but with a second wipe and a second loading of gapps........all is well.

Many thanks for the help :)

I flashed the new one also went ahead & encrypted the device however when I boot back into device instead of password first I get the Dirty Unicorns about info, tried disabling that at startup but it still popped up so I removed it & uploaded a backup to my dropbox now it asks for password too decrypt first like id prefer, if device was lost or confiscated for any reason my infos safe & not for that too popup first that was a way to get password too popup first , Not I repeat not a complaint I love this Rom
