Root [ROM][BETA][4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11 for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 6/27/2014

Cm11 feels a lot more responsive then slimkat. I do have some questions. In the recovery twrp I formatted the System and it world not let me flash any more. So I tried to reboot and it said that my phone was not rooted and asked if I wanted to install supersu I said no what would have happened of I would have said yes after the reboot it flashed? Also the patch you uploaded messed my phone up and caused me to have to re flash. Last question how do to make the menu go transparent?

Trying latest now. Finally made a Nandroid backup, so hopefully recovery from Sleipnir will be quick if necessary. :)

This one appears to do a lot better than the prior version. I was able to install everything no problem. Run multiple apps initially worked well, but I've bogged it down now. I was able to get Candy Crush working. I've set my app limit to 3 and we'll see how it goes. But it's way better than before.

Waze and Google Maps both seem to work much better. Maps didn't require Text-To-Speech which seemed to be required in the prior version (and failed).

As far as Google Apps, I'm using the version that was there previously without issue.

Given this version is so much better I'm going to give it a good try!

My only real complaint so far is that I can't get rid of Google Search. And it heads every page.

Google Calendar needs to be updated to work.

Now the thing has problems installing apps... Sometimes it won't start download. Sometimes, it will. Sometimes it gives 961 error. Right now it's trying to install Action Launcher and it's taking forever. It shouldn't. I've fixed permissions and cleared out Google Play's memory. Who knows... Edit: Latest play store seems to have fixed it - thanks @Dark One.

Working like a champ now - Wifi / wireless data are both unreliable, maybe that was the cause of my store issues?

It was unreliable also with 4.2.2 (used testboot.zip to fix it). Is that still a viable fix for this build? Under Wifi / Advanced, I've unchecked "Wi-Fi optimization". That didn't help.

Hrmm. @Phenom, any idea? Thanks.

So here is a run down of what i am doing. The issues I am having is that some apps are not installing and some will ,but some of the ones that do install crash when they start up, I will then get a "close/report" screen I click to report and that crashes to. but then some will work fine. so that being said this is how I am flashing my rom

1 wipe data/factory reset
2 wipe cache
3 wipe dalvik
4 wipe batt stats
5 format cache/system/data/emmc
6 install vm696cm11/5-16 pt2 gapps min 442/musicpatch
7 wipe cache
8 wipe dalvik
9 reboot

also, when i get a phone call and pick up the damn thing is still ringing while i am talking...

It is nice to get some roms for this phone. Seems like anytime I am able to get roms it is when I switch to a different phone and that phone doesn't have any roms at the moment and then when it does I switch to another phone. Anyways to get on topic I have tried this rom and it seemed to work good when just powering it on and opening a few things. But I could never get the google account manager to work so no google play. They both kept force closing as well as the built in browser when I tried to use it. I had even tried slimbean and put the small gapps on it and still I was having the same issues. I think it is because the system is full all the time which makes no since as the system is like 350MBs I believe and 180 for the rom as well as 150 for the gapps is not over 350. Yes they are compressed and all but the compression for most things isn't much over 25% thus equaling about 350 after they are decompressed and installed to the phone. I must have something wrong with my system partition with it saying it is full all the time after trying to install gapps.

I've improved my performance quite a bit by changing the CPU Governor... Although it seems unreliable (may be killing the battery fast). It's hard to find details on all of them and what they do, but just in the settings tab, they don't all seem to adjust the CPU. Certainly the ones that stick at the high speeds are far better than those that move around.

Edit: Not sure what I did, but the lock screen doesn't come on (won't go to sleep even if display is off for x seconds). And, for whatever reason the Torch started coming on seemingly randomly. For that, I may just disable the app.
