Anybody feeling this app?

I like it. It's in BETA now, but it still works good. I can't wait until you can also chat.

i just found it today. works pretty well. Has to stop and buffer every once and a while, but the sound seems to keep up even if the video gets a little slow. reading the chats is cool. i suppose you could log into twitter or ustream from the computer and chat that way though. integrated chat would be very nice, although it might make it lag more. dont know . so far i like it. i can finally listen to KIDD live when i go to work.

I've streamed some goofiness with it this week. Was fairly impressed with how it came out when I went back and watched.

Why is it that some streams force close? Too much bandwidth and OS can't handle it?

Are the other people that it works for running something other than cupcake?

Wish they would hurry with 2.2 (if thats still where they are going)

Does anyone know why my screen appears like it is solarized? its almost like there is a filter on it but i can not get it to go away.... you can see what i mean at david morin 04/06/10 11:23AM, david morin 04/06/10 11:23AM davidjmorin on USTREAM. Lifecasting

When I try this app on my incredible I hear the sound and see the chats, but the video is just blank white. Anyone else seeing this? (or not seeing it may be a better description)

I was disappointed to learn that Skype mobile does not have video capabilities. However I tested Upstream app to stream live video, and, albeit a 2-second lag in audio it worked like a charm. It even allows you to film video local - not "live", with ability to upload that footage later to upstream. There was an option to upload to YouTube but it was grayed out and I couldnt get it to work. But overal I was very happy with this revolutionary service. Imagine going to a store to get something for a friend you can simply stream the product selection with your friend seeing it from a web browser oceans away..

After the last update it works fine. you can use it for watching via the ustream viewer and for broadcasting. Although when I used the incredible for broadcasting it cut up the broadcast into two minute segments. I don't know if that is something specific to the incredible or maybe having an unreliable and crowded wifi connection

I think its pretty cool. The two things I don't really like is the search option sucks. Also how do you chat with the person? I know folks are chatting through Twitter but how do you do it on the phone while watching the person on Ustream.
