For what I use it for, I like it a lot. I first used it on an iPhone but since I'm using Android phones now, I like it a lot more since it's integrated into the phone. I may start giving out my Google Voice number more so I can use it for texting finally.
I hate voicemail. I've tried 30 times to get Verizon to disable it on my account, but they wont.
That said, I really love the transcription service of GV. I get to read the text and see if the message seems important at all before spending the time to listen. Love that feature

It only works for Mobile phones. I used it on my work cell. I hated calling *86 and going through the prompts. Now, I get an email with the actual message and a SMS with the message translated. I don't think the translation is very good, but you can get the gist of the VM.
I wish it worked on all phones, I would love to get rid of my work landline VM.
