?Recover Market app updates after installing from backup?

Scenario:
I backed up everything from Android using MyBackup Pro. I upgraded from "2.1 leak v1" to "2.1 leak v3". I used MyBackup Pro to restore all of my apps. Is there any way to trigger getting app update notification? I know I could just reinstall all the apps via the regular market and from that point forward I would get the updates. But this really defeats my purpose of restoring using the MyBackup Pro app.

I there an app that saves/reinstalls apps correctly so the market sees the updates properly?

(i searched a little, but ran out of time so i just wanted to ask)

not that i know of. there is an app that just saves a list of your applications and reinstalls them from the market. but if you have off market apps like swype, or paid apps like beautiful widgets, your still stuck

no, its not auto. it just opens up the app in the marketplace.
ill see if i can find it. it was some wierd off market app i found somewhere.

i think app brain does it.
i couldnt find the one i was looking for.
try using app brain though

i found one called Atrackdog. (mentioned here: http://androidforums.com/all-things...-apps-download-section-market.html#post419928 )
It runs through your apps and lets you know if there are any updates. This might work... I will also try App Brain as well.
