Well i received my Moto X on Wednesday. I retired my Galaxy Note 3 atfer 8 months due to the size. It was a GREAT device but I grew frustrated with the overall bulk of the device. So what do I think of the Moto X? To make a long story short, I LOVE IT! The 4.7 inch display is vibrant, colors are accurate, text is easily readable. There is no lag whatsoever, none. Call quality is excellent on Verizon, as is the speaker phone volume, and notification volume. The size is just right for one handed navigation. Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity are perfect. Active notifications are nice, but I would prefer a traditional notification light. The Daydream feature is also very nice and works very well. On that subject, do yourself a favor and download Clock Plus and activate it in Daydream. Clock Plus is a GREAT app for displaying the time as well as your Mail and SMS notifications while charging. I will end here. I am very happy with the Moto X. I can't wait to see what the Moto X Plus One has to offer later this year. PEACE !

I'm on day 2 and have to agree with your thoughts. I wasn't planning on getting a new phone until fall but my Droid Razr Maxx is acting up. I signed up for the Verizon Edge program with this phone so it will be easy to upgrade to the Plus 1 later.

You know what, I'm in exactly the same spot you were. My Droid Razr Maxx is getting sludgy (had to uninstall almost all but the basics), and I'm thinking about the Edge program in case something super-cool comes out.

Hello again. I started this thread and I am about 7 weeks in with my Moto X. Yes, I STILL LOVE IT ! I am an admitted Phone Whore ! I have owned them all ! To name but a few, I have owned the IPhone 3GS, IPhone 4S, IPhone 5 , Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S 4 and on and on ! You get the point. My Moto X outshines them all. GREAT JOB MOTOROLA ! The one and only way that I would even consider straying from the fold is if the impending Moto X Plus One blows me away with MUCH better specs and a display BELOW 5.3 inches. The Galaxy Note 3 is a great device, but the 5.7 inch display is too large, making the device a two handed endeavor. A great cellular device definitely should be easily managed with one hand. PEACE.

Can you please share your experience with the battery life. Many folks have complained after installing over the air updates that the battery life is poor. Let's say you leave everything switch on and brightness on the higher side say 80%. Then use the phone to make some calls, play music, check emails...basically a mix of things. Any idea how long to expect it to last?
