Root [International] Danvdh ROMs

Lets put the full changelog out shall we?

06/18/2014
*Use the updated DarkUI flash zip if you use this feature*
Updated Superuser to the much awaited 2.0
Updated build.prop to reflect today's date without branding the ROM
Updated to the new CM autobrightness
this Gerrit Code Review has been tested by me and provides much better autobrightness

this will help battery life a great deal :) as you can see here, it's well tested by the guys at CM, they have been working on perfecting autobrightness for well over a month now for this device, I'm very happy with the results of these changes
special thanks to @hawkerpaul for pointing this out to me in the CM repo

No problems here either with dirty flashing.

The brightness adjustments really are noticeable, I'm wondering if a little too dark for my liking. Maybe I'm being picky!! I can see why it would improve screen on time!

Would it be possible to have it as an option in settings so you could switch it on or off??

Agreed Syd. It is noticeably darker, indoors, during daylight. Maybe a little too dark for my taste as well. I know that the auto-brightness settings can be adjusted in GravityBox but perhaps it might have been better to have left the settings as they were and let those who wanted the lower brightness use GravityBox.

All I have done is go to GravityBox > Display tweaks > Brightness settings... and just turned it on and rebooted. I have not played about with the any of the other settings.

At least we both know who to blame for this one. :pound:

(No doubt we will be labelled, "Luddites".)

Just a word of warning to us Dan ROM users.

Don't try applying the OTA patch that is provided in metal arse's link
This patches stock Nexus firmware and checks for stock md5's etc, so either it will bugger up your ROM, or at best, just fail to apply.

We will have to wait for Dan to apply the S4 patch on his stock 4.4.3, then do all of his updates on all affected 4.4.4 files.

Good point old Phantom Flasher!

It never even crossed my mind that someone would be stupid enough to flash a Nexus patch to the Galaxy S4... but there again!

(Which reminds me, anybody heard from Syd lately? ;) )

UPDATE IN THE OP

06/18/2014
*Use the updated DarkUI flash zip if you use this feature*
-Autobrightness adjusted, I upped the values a bit so mostly everyone should be happy, the screen is no longer too dark but does a good job saving power too, I'll be submitting this array to CM.
-Home button long press vibration and touchkey button vibration smoothed out, should give the perfect amount of haptic feedback when this option is enabled
-Kernel updated
-Updated build.prop
-Last 4.4.3 release, stay tuned 4.4.4 whenever they decide to give us that

Could have sworn that today was the 24th June!

They're a bit behind in Wales I guess. It's still the 18th June 1846, there.

Nice to see that Syd and I were vindicated in our opinion of the auto brightness settings being too dark. I blame these so-called testers. They don't carry out the rigorous testing that's needed in bars, pubs and clubs. ;)

Hey so-called metal crack, don't shoot the messenger.
Blame Danfromcanada for cocking up his dates!
Proof here if ever I needed it!
:p

I've put my own brightness settings into this build too so balls to you and the sloth! And you will regret the brighter screen when you are using it under your stained duvets brushing up on your "art"...It will make you go blind!......and the bright screen will too!
