Root [Boost Mobile] Working ROMS/MODS/KERNELS/MODEMS/ECT for the Boost S3

There has to be a way to turn off that scaling of the wallpapers that tw does right it doesn't do this on asop roms it's annoying can't see the entire wallpaper unless I scroll over or its just cut off anyone know how to change that
Edit :it might just be Google now Launcher because I installed action Launcher and the wallpaper is fine but I've never had this issue before with google now launcher

Edit2: download xposed gel settings from the play store and turned off wallpaper scrolling

I use ADW EX. The wallpaper scrolling effect is one of the 1st things I deactivate.

I also use Quickpic. I never have liked any of the stock galleries. Xposed Framework even has a module specifically for Quickpic which names it as a gallery.

Another thing I want to mention. I know some Devs say not to use Xblast tools with TouchWiz ROMS. I'm using it with Conquest to theme my status bar and it's working perfectly.

Take a look.

Well fellows I was fed up with the ser vice and data speed. I moved to tmo. Excellent reception and speed. I was hard to pic between s5 and the m8. The m8 won an awesome piece of hardware I've had a day to play with it fast as lightning out the box. Loving the4 bars and constant lte. Everything comes with a price. No more looking for a sweet spot any ? Just ask

I'm going to download quickpic now and thanks for the heads up on xblast

I like other launchers but I like the Google now one more before that it was themer and action Launcher I'm getting kinda bored of Google now though so I'm thinking about running themer

I see you like icon packs so if you buy unicorn icon themer on the play store you'll be able to use any icon pack and theme all your icons and it stays that theme no matter what Launcher you use it will not switch you back to stock icons until you change it, it's a module for xposed I really like it

Ok got an issue I think. I'm still in 4.2.1 non-rooted and got a notice for a download. The info didn't say nothing about kk at all it just says something about "this software includes enhamcements yada yada". The update is 89.9mb big.
I've accepted this same update 2 other times. The second time I watched it after reboot and it seems to only go about 1/4 of the way of the install them reboots.
No errors of any kind and no error message after the reboot either.
When I check for updates again it shows none available.

So now here I am again with what looks like the exact same update a third time now.

So I'm puzzled as to what's going on.
Is it the same update? Did it not install? If so why did it not notify me that there was an error or that it didn't install?

I've done a factory reset two times already and again I'm not rooted at all.

I flashed the unrooted 4.2.1 tar file in odin on the pc.

Any suggestions???

ADW EX allows me to use a good many of other launchers themes. That's one of the reasons I love ADW so much. I mix and match icons, docks, and wallpapers. I've probably got 50 + themes along with icon and dock packs too. Some are paid and others are free. One things for sure, there are a bunch of them out there.

Thanks for the heads up on Unicorn. I'll definitely check it out.

I love messing around and putting themes together. I'm constantly changing mine. Lol Beautiful Widgets and One More Clock Widget come in real handy too.

There's a home screen thread in the main S3 section. Check out some of my screenshots I've posted. I've got all kinds of theme setups. Lol

One more thing I wanted to let you know about. I don't use the module for the Advanced Power Menu. I had trouble with it. Wanam Xposed has one that works perfectly. In Wanam, look in System and then 4 Way reboot menu. I've got screenshot and the other settings enabled and they work great. :D

Damn Kev. Sorry to see you go Bro. The main thing is that you are happy with your service and phone. That's awesome that you are getting such great service. Unfortunately for me, even T-Mobile has crappy service where I live. lol The guy who came out and worked on our cable had T-Mobile and he had to step outside to make a phone call. Yep, I live in the boonies man. It's all good though. Service is getting better out here, slowly but surely.

Take it easy and stop by once in awhile. :)

Don't worry I'll still be here I love the s3 it will be my apod and mini tab. I'll answer questions for people. I've ran cm 11 for a while. Biker this HD voice is awesome on this thing not in the boonies but on the edge of town

Man sad to see you go but that's good you'll still check in and you have better coverage I suspect you won't be the only to leave boost it's summer people want to make plans and go places and with the service sucking you can't hold a decent conversation longer than a minute without it breaking up or complete dropping the call I know this is the case for me

Tmo is looking pretty good for me right now lol

Thanks for the heads up about the 4 way reboot and yeah I noticed that with wamam if you enable the mod to switch songs with the volume keys and you have more than 1 music player installed it gets funky it started playing the same song in both players even tho I didn't open the other so I just use the stock tw player

I usually look at that page but I usually do minimal theming because I'm always changing roms lol but I'll probably start because I'll be on conquest for a while

Well guys, I've found a issue with Conquest. I'm not posting this in the ROM's thread because it's not really a bug with the ROM itself. The built in WiFi Hotspot works great. It connects to my PC with no problems whatsoever.

Here's the problem... When I'm out and about, I'll Tether my tablet to my phone if no WiFi is available. My tablet connects to my phone's default Hotspot but has no Internet access at all . When this has happened in the past I've been able to use the WiFi Tether Router app and it has always been able to connect to my tablet. The WiFi Tether Router app not only won't work now , for some reason it can't even broadcast its signal from Conquest.

This issue had me scratching my head. The WiFi Tether Router app works great with Wicked-X. I wonder why Conquest won't allow it to broadcast a signal?

If anyone running Conquest has gotten it to connect to an Android device, please explain how you did so. Thanks.

I swear! Swiftkey really screwed the people who paid for the keyboard. They make it free and give the people who've already paid for it a theme package that is worthless. I would not buy 99% of the themes that came in the package.

Not only did they basically rob us. Now their keyboard has a lag where as it didn't before the update. Yep, Swiftkey robbed those of us who actually paid for the app. What a total crock of BS.

OK. Had to get that out. And no, this message was not typed with the keyboard i paid almost $ 4 for.

End Rant

Completely agree I was pissed when they made it free and gave us 10 themes everything in this app should be free for us that's bs who pays for themes anyway? No one if I didn't buy the app and downloaded it free I wouldn't buy a single theme

The app hoverchat(formerly ninja sms) tried to do the same thing as swift key and they saw how pissed everyone was that bought it and made everything free in the app for people that bought it before they updated

I understand why devs make it free it's more exposure but at the same time if your going to make a free version don't screw over the people that supported you in the early days

That thanks was for the heads up biker! I was seriously contemplating buying this keyboard just last night. funny how u did a quick review on it the very next morning! oh and by the way biker i got Comadose working on the G Note3 and also installed on the GS3 so far so good. i mean the note 3 already has a hell of a battery but i figured why not. lol

On a side note soon as I get my grubby fingers on a version of Android L for us I'm flashing it lbs

Is that what there calling it Android L or is that just the name until they officially release it? I noticed there wasn't as much hype about what they were gonna call it like previous builds of android.

Yeah its called Android L I guess they just haven't came up with an desert that starts with a L to name it but I'm sure it's on the way and yeah I noticed that also a lot of people aren't really talking about it I personally think it looks better and I like the new features but it may not be hyped yet because it's just dev builds of Android L out so the general public can't really get it until the official release all I know is I'll hype it up lol because I can't wait until I can get it

Swiftkey is all free now. The only thing you buy know are the themes for it

Took the plunge and ate my words and updated to NDC right after midnight. My new billing period started and I have served my monthly Throttle sentence.

Everything went just like the instructions. I used Odin 3.07 and it took right at 10 minutes.

Not being a big fan of TouchWiz, I didn't spend much time looking at stock, but I can see some improvement over 4.3

I Odined the 05/14 tar of Philz and used it to flash the new zip from today.

Got a backup of stock which will come in handy if I have to argue with Boost about the recent signal strength at my house. That is the main reason that I took the update. I hope the new modem turns out to be better. I did get some LTE time on NDC, which is more than I can say for MK3 recently.

Installed Wicked-X and it is a nice Rom and I want to spend more time with it, but not tonight. Lots of new stuff to play with. I plan to do this tomorrow near some WiFi.

After playing with Wicked-X for a few minutes, I tried the last task on my list.

I restored my backup of LiquidSmooth. This also went flawlessly. I was glad not to have to reinstall it.

So, I can say to anyone that I recommend that you get off the fence and:

Just Do It!
