Root 1.6 hybrid for behold2...

I am making this thread for a couple reasons. 1) to clear up the 1.6 no twiz as someone suggested and 2) to get an accurate list of what people want in the 1.6 no twiz/galaxy rom.
i was thinking of taking a stab at this but before I start I would like to see what everyone would like to see in this rom. :-D

Thanks....I believe I'm the one who mad the suggestions. .... I know I really like the functionality of the Galaxy Rom and have been running since R1 but really it came to a point to where I needed the vib working so I made the switch to warheads. You know sometimes these threads get out of hand (Please don't bite my head off) but if people would just spend the time to use the search button, it really would clean up a lot of the questions that people ask over and over again, Yes I'm at fault too sometimes but it does help....

i agree, and yes you were. so to keep on topic with this thread ;-) what do you want in the hybrid? i might not get to it today, but i have tomorrow off work, so i'll be switchin to r8 to pull everything off the phone onto my computer and then back to WARHEADS to start modding lol. if it works, it works. i am just looking for something to do to burn time cuz i've nothing better to do, unfortunately lol.

LOL...Okay:

1. Vibrate
2. Stock Behold 2 Camera with full features as with 1.5 Stock BH2.
3. Good Battery Life.
4. New Boot, Phone, Kernel with A2SD just like Warheads, I like being able to partition my SD card from the phone.
5. Maybe Home++, or maybe Darkstar.
6. Galaxy Dialer, Contacts with the Favorites tab.
7. Fully functional Root (Some people keep losing Root)

I can Fix Root!, but it Mean we have to go back to Cat ( cat /sdcard/*** > /system/*** )

However, I can Fix the Recovery so people can Push files to system if that would help..
I've found that the behold 2 don't like the rw access being on with root for app.. I've been trying everything I can think of to fix this issue, the only thing I've not trying is to fixing the permissions in the Fota_init.rc in the ramdisk... which is worth a shot at this point.

I think in the end I can just use Warheads...I'm very happy with it. Just was looking for the functionality for Galaxy, the mean thing is just what I like in general.

ya I know, but thought I would help you clarify a little, the thing with Home++ is that it has way to many bugs let alone our phone separately has enough bugs!

Actually, once I updated the kernel practically all the bugs disappeared.

Home++ is awesome!

Ya I like Home++ but even after updating the kernel, it still had the same bugs. Also my phone wouldnt sleep at all on Warheads so I went back to Dots till the hybrid comes out! I don't know maybe it was a bad flash, I'm sure if I were to do it all over again it might work, but I'm happy with DOTS for right now!

good to hear it! I'm tiered of switching back and fourth so I'm gonna stick with DOTS till the hybrid rom!
