Root [International] Anyone used Kingo to root their Note 3?

Hi gang.

I'm toying with rooting my note. Having rooted both my 1st generation HTC Desire, and my Galaxy S2.

Just been reading about Kingo

http://galaxy-note-3.wonderhowto.co...-note-3-one-easy-click-using-windows-0151863/

And it sounds a dream to use. I used Odin for my S2.

Has anyone used this programme?
How safe is it? Yes I know there are ALWAYS risks when rooting before someone points out the obvious.
How will this rooting solution be effected by Knox?
I don't use, or like Knox, but will it mess up my phone's security? Not 100% sure about the implications of Knox on my device.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Andy

An international Note 3 (SM-N9005) ? There is only one way I'd ever root it and that's the CF (Chain Fire) way using his file and Odin. This won't trip Knox either, but to use root to flash and install mods via a custom recovery you have to flash after rooting will trip Knox.

Regarding Knox, there is still huge ambiguity as to whether it actually voids the device warranty or just the Knox (this device is secure) warranty. It is safer to assume a custom recovery will trip Knox and invalidate your device warranty.

Unless you are planning to use your device in a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) scenario for your job then tripping the Knox flag has no effect whatsoever in the working of the device.

Kingo worked on my International SM-N9005. Bear in mind though - it doesn't just root but also installs a Chinese recovery - tripping Knox as well.

So unless you can read Chinese, you will have to re-flash a different recovery.
