HTC Stock Apps

This phone comes with a ton of apps pre-installed out of the box. When I go into Setting>Applications>Manage Applications, it does not give me the option to delete these apps (e.g. city ID). Does anyone know if you can delete these unnecessary apps or are we stuck with them?

Your stuck with them until the device is rooted. I know it's annoying being there knowing you won't use it but if it is not active it won't be using resources or much space.
