well, I played with the LG G3 for about a week before moving to ART. Once I moved to ART, I did notice less lag on things such as opening apps, moving about in the app folder and even on the entry of my unlock pin on the lock screen. Is it going to blow your mind with the difference? No. But I can tell some differences with the smoothness and to me, that's worth it. However, I haven't really noticed any difference in battery life one way or the other.
Really interested to see how ART will impact things once it's full-blown in the next version of Android.

One additional note: I attempted to use ART on my HTC One M8 and reverted back after a week as it tended to have the opposite effect. I started to see more lag. Was it due to ART or some other app that I had recently installed or some other factor? Not sure, but I had to revert.

ART ...

'nuf said. ;)

I've also noticed significant battery life improvement with ART. The only gotcha, at least with ART in it's current state, is when you update, it has to recompile all your apps, which for me with 170+ takes a good 20 minutes and turns the phone into a hand warmer. Of course you only have to do that once, but still ...

No xposed, no ART for me. I did see a list of apps that don't work and there were others I need too (capital one,I think). Seems like there are lots of incompatibilities yet, but I guess if that's not a problem for people, then art is probably a little better. At least it's easy to go back without factory reset.

All this talk about ART inspired me to change my settings to it on my Galaxy Nexus. Here goes nothing.

Don't do it!
Or if you do, be sure to have a backup. It futzed mine when I tried it but that was way back when it was first introduced and highly unstable (on CM11). Could be more stable now....
Anyway, my only .02 is I run ART on my Moto G and don't notice much of a difference.

I switched to ART yesterday and a few minutes after it restarted and optimized my apps the phone was completely frozen. Had to pull the battery and start it again. After it rebooted it froze again after a minute or two. Pulled the battery again and switched back to dalvik as soon as it started back up, haven't had any problems since.

Maybe I did something wrong? I'm all for the added speed, the hit to storage doesn't bother me.
