Not getting my emails

I get maybe 1 out of every 50 emails sent to my phone. Coming from a blackberry this blows.

I have my yahoo account link to it and tried to do my schools but it wouldnt let me

Are you using a PC to pick up mail via POP?

I was having this problem with Gmail. My home PC is set to poll my email account like once a minute or something. While the setting on the home PC is to leave the email on the server, the POP polling will snag the email from the inbox and dump it into the "All Mail" folder. I could see my mail there with the phone, but I wouldn't get the notifications unless the moon phase was right and the phone got the email before my home PC.

Gmail has a setting "when messages are accessed with POP..." the setting can't be anything but "leave Gmail's copy in the inbox."

So...if this is your problem, your home PC has to leave a copy of the message on the server (in Outlook, account settings>internet email settings>other settings>advanced) and your email server's setting has to leave the message in the inbox when accessed by POP.

Blackberry used a different push system. Your Incredible's phone is interactive with Gmail...delete the message on your handset and it goes into the Gmail trash folder...while Blackberry is not.

Yahoo does not work over Wifi. If you are trying to use it over wifi, it will not work. It is a yahoo issue if you use a free yahoo mail account. They seem to have some way to enable it if you are going through Verizon network. I have posted a reference to a but report for this a few days ago so you can look through my posts if you want to.

Hope this helps
