My wife and I left Apple. I never thought I would see her do it...but she got the one and is also in love

Just purchased mine online at Best Buy. It was on sale for $99, silver edition on Verizon. I am going to try the ol' sim card swap before I turn it on in order to keep my Unlimited plan.
Congrats all around! :)

I'm nearing 6 weeks with mine and it still feels brand new to me! :D

I'm a new member of Club M8. That's really catchy SolApathy. I picked it up at T-mobile Saturday, full price but 0 down.

So far I like the way it feels in my hand so much so that I almost regret ordering a case in advance. The design of the M8 is just about perfect for watching videos be they YouTube streaming or ripped from DVDs. The sound from the two front firing speakers is better than any other Android device I've had so far but not on par with even a halfway decent portable stereo radio. Still for the types of documentaries I watch they are damn near perfect.

oh boy o boy o boy:D :D

Found out I am eligible for an upgrade as of 8-20-14!!
This phone has been on my radar for quite sometime!
Been reading about it and comparing it to the LG G3.

I'm kind of biased towards HTC as my first real phone that I rooted and got into was the Evo 4g.

Looks pretty simple to root and s-off (Verizon)

Might go with this very soon and give my old Samsung S3 to my daughter (her Iphone is on the fritz--3rd one since her contract ) )

I'll let ya'll know what I do:D

Hello All,

It's been a long time since I've posted on Android Forums. I currently have a Rezound which I'm done with. I haven't kept up with all of the new phones lately. I was looking at other phones today to see what I can do with my phone upgrade with Verizon. I came across the HTC One. I liked what I saw in the specs. I was looking at the original One, Remix and the M8 for price comparison. I actually found the M8 for $50 with a new 2 year contract at Best Buy which was the best deal I can find. I'm currently month to month with Verizon.
Is their any better deal than the $50 for the M8 at Best Buy?

Be sure to look at the total cost of the phone over the contract life when comparing carriers/offers. As well as termination fees.

Also, even though you're paying for the balance of the phone cost in the contract price with verizon, that amount keeps being charged even if you don't upgrade your phone after the 2 year contract expires.

I like t-Mobile because their contracts are month to month so if you leave before your phone is paid for you only owe the balance of the phone cost. Double check me on that but from what I remember that's the way it works.

Currently paying $142 a month at Verizon for two people. Planning to move to T-Mobile where the cost will be about $92 a month.
