Mine has been great from the start. Speaker phone sounds great and I've asked how I sound and they didn't realize I was on speaker phone. Totally happy so far

I'm sure hoping it's a hardware problem because I love this phone and the Galaxy S5 is really my only other choice and I'm not a big Samsung fan.
I seem to be reading that. My problem is actual cutting out. It's like you hear, or the person on the other end hears every other word all broken up. It's completely not listenable. Kind of like a land line with a handset cord making and breaking connection intermittently. I'm suspecting it's a defective phone.
Yeah, I think I would have noticed that...or would have heard my wife bitching about it. Well, actually I wouldn't have been able to hear her bitch about it. Hey...wait...wanna trade phones? Hehehe!!! J/K...good thing my wife doesn't frequent this forum haha!
This is not a confidence builder.U guys are funny ! FWIW I was just out for a while driving and had to take a business call and it was breaking up badly on my end. It started out fine but then went bonkers after about 4 minutes or so. Phone is going back for an exchange in the morning. Let's see how well Best Buy's 14 day exchange program works. I'm on my 7th day.
I've wondered at times if they'll ever start releasing "smartphones" that don't actually have a phone function.
It wasn't as dim as I thought and the s5 looked cartoony compared to the g3 (saturated). The viewing angles were terrible compared to the s5. That's an amoled v. lcd issue, I know, but the colors were more real on the g3. (subscribed.)
