SD card Folders issue

Hey guys just bought the HTC One m8 and i love the phone.
Also my first Android phone so still learning stuff about it. The only problem is the sd card write issue on kitkat which sucks balls.

Anyway i didn't have this problem before but now when i connect my phone with my pc (toshiba satellite) i can't view all my sd card folders on my pc except for:
Android
Lost.dir
Mobile
My documents

i cant access my downloads movies music etc on my PC which is really annoying, although i can see all the folders when i open them on my phone.

Somebody help please.

While I don't know an answer to your original issue, sorry , seeing as though you posted it not too long before your bump, we generally frown upon bumping threads.
I can understand sometimes the urgency and anxiety of someones issue, but bumping a thread within a short period of time? Yeah, lets refrain from that

I just started using android so i dont know what that means :S

btw i haven't rooted my phone yet

i also use a satellite and a htc m8. i just tried what you have said and i can open the folders on the computer. you may need to check your settings

Give the HTC Sync Manager a try walax. Here's a link for the download if you don't have that option when you plug your phone into your PC. HTC Sync Manager Overview | HTC United States

not very efficient but HTC Sync Manager will do for now, Thanks dontpanicbobby.

You can always use Airdroid to transfer and delete files.

HTC included a File Manager in 1 update, can't remember which, which will fix this problem for people who aren't rooted.
