connectbot - Project Hosting on Google Code

That is actually the one I installed last night. I just misspelled it in my previous post. Since you've used this app, can you tell me how you actually "login" or "connect" to the host you specify? I could not find options for this anywhere.

start connectbot, at the bottom, select ssh from the drop down menu. in the textbox enter : username@host. after you are done with inputting the host hit enter in the keypad.

you can copy your keys in /sdcard (just copy the private keys) and then use menu -> manage public keys and import it. to use it just tap the key, enter your passcode to unlock and then use the key to logon to your server.

the local option which gives you a shell for your incredible is quite nice as well.

Start the app and there's a text box and drop-down at the bottom. Use the drop-down to select SSH, Telnet or Local. Type your username@host in the text box.

By "enter", do you mean the Return key? Maybe this is what I was doing wrong. I kept looking in the menu for a "login" or "connect" function, but it wasn't there. I also tried pushing on the optical trackpad, but all it did was reopen up the edit box for the hostname. Could it really be so simple as just pushing the Return key button? I spent at least 20 minutes last night fiddling with it trying to find a way to connect with my server.
