Googles Homepage doesn't show suggestions since moving from 1.5 to 2.1

Ever since moving from 1.5 to 2.1, I use Dolphin browser btw, and I start typing in the google.com search box...I no longer get suggestions or typing help. Drives me CRAZY.

Did you click the Settings link on google.com and choose "On" for "Query suggestions in search box"?

yes, it is enabled. The My Location is not..but not sure that matters.

If i use the default browser that came with the HTC, the search suggestions work there..just not in Dolphin.

The location shouldn't matter. I have mine as off too. I don't know what else it could be. I looked through the Dolphin settings and didn't see anything.

I prefer not to view mobile versions of most pages, so I turn that off...but what sucks is that it changes the google homepage. The suggestions no longer appear for me unless I change my settings back to "mobile view".

If I set my user agent to "desktop", I get suggestions. If I change it to Android or iPhone, I don't get them.

Where do you change that? All I have on my google homepage is classic and mobile.

Open Dolphine, Click MENU. then settings...then on the 1st screen, you should see "USER AGENT" somewhere. You should have 3 choices

Android
iPhone
Desktop

Oh, there's the problem, lol. I don't use Dolphin.
