Okay this may seem like a dumb question but i've never used a Zagg screen protector before. i picked one up today and had them install it at Best Buy and after installation, it feels really rough to slide my finger across. is there an outer layer that is on it that i'm feeling?

i've tried not to touch it so much an let it dry but if it's going to be this rough to use, i'm not sure if i really want it. let me know what you guys think, who have had experience or currently use it

It's like that at first.

It get's MUCH better. You'll barely notice it's there - you can't when screen is on.

Give it at least 48 hours and the stickiness fades too.

Loving mine - had BB installation.

ZAGG is the worst screen protector on the market. Its sticky and cloudy compared to other brands. It was not designed for touch screens.

Well, you've made it abundantly clear that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Zaggs are great screen protectors, hence the normally solid reviews and recommendations by a lot of users.

Mines not cloudy, it is a little more resistant than stock, but I'll take a little resistance if it stops my screen from getting scratched. Those other high gloss, thin films are not as good at protecting the screen.

The Zagg I put on my Incredible was the first one I had ever used as well. I was disappointed with the rubbery feel when I started using it, but the feel has improved dramatically in the four days since I installed it. I have no regrets about the purchase and would recommend the Zagg to anyone.

I don't like Zagg as much anymore. It's kind of grippy, which works well for something like an old iPod (which is what my first one was for - and this was one of the advertised selling points of the product at the time), but I don't like them for touch screens. That being said, it will condition as you use it, becoming somewhat slicker.

I prefer Ghost Armor myself, which is pretty much the same thing but with less "orange peel".

I put a Zagg protector on my DI today and wanted to peel it off and throw it in the garbage immediately.... ....BUT, I read in the instructions it can take something like up to 48 hours to dry completely. So I left it on and already tonight the "sticky" has smoothed out, the orange peel is reduced greatly, and I love it. With the free lifetime replacement its a great deal. Im hooked...

I tried a Zagg Invisible Shield sight-unseen.

It was easier to install than the other screen protectors I am used to. However, it seems thicker and it has a very soft vinyl feel... it feels very similar to one of those vinyl window clings that you can put on your car.

My finger seems to hang up a lot when I am moving it across the screen.

I've also found that it's easy to "catch" the edge or corner of the screen protector with a fingernail. I added the verizon gloss silicone case and the edge of the case is causing the screen protector to lift off the screen in one corner.

I have ordered a different screen protector (one with the two tabs you remove one at a time) and will be removing the Zagg once that arrives.

The Zagg would be good at protecting a non-touch screen but I don't like it much for the Incredible.
