New maps doesn't have the nav option till you search/select a destination. Font size for icons is controlled by the launcher in Nova settings. The icon and text color on the status bar can be adjusted with the included tinted status bar module. Hope that helps you out.Activated one of the phones online. ROM is quite fast.
Installed Maps but there was no Navigation option within. Turned on various location services and no luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled Maps and everything works now.
Minor UI bug: when using Google Play store, status text (clock, batt, etc) is white on light gray gradient. Very hard to read.
Changing font size in settings doesn't change font on icons - not sure if this is a bug.
Hangouts updated. It keeps popping up on power up. Is there away to turn this off and bring it up only when needed?
Is any one having issues with music player stuttering here and there once in a while
It was removed as thats the default kk and l behavior... Also they just indicate data direction not actual transfer rate... The color of the wifi icon indicates whether there is a data connection or not and the color of the 3g/1x icon does the same...Why remove data signal up/download arrows..... wouldn't you want to see the action of a network? Say if a network was slow, you could actually see if it was sending or receiving packets
Added current hangouts with removed sms toast along with wifi tether settings and alternate launchers to op
Just flash hangouts zip in recovery no need to wipe anything...Excellent, thanks. What do I wipe (Data/cache/etc) before I install this one (obviously I'll remove the already installed version)?
Also, which launcher will let you increase font size on icons? Current one requires an upgrade to the pro version.
BTW, battery life is not that great thus far. Haven't had a chance to look into it yet. Anyone else notice this?
Can't duplicate this issue. All my animations etc are smooth. Are you on the stock kernel? There seems to be a bug with the notification pull down.... It'll act laggy until you switch over to the notification toggles (tiles). Once you switch back, the lag will stop for a while, perhaps it's not staying persistent properly.

Plz dont post bugs when using different kernels or after editing system files...No, I'm using RBs kernel

Because the rom is posted as we wanted. We can't trouble shoot other peoples kernels and mods and make it relevant for the rom as its designed...if you flash a different kernel or mod a system file then the issue may or may not be the rom as it is offered. If a bug exists with the rom as it is then its an issue for those who have built the rom. But if you're using different kernels etc its difficult to trouble shoot. (Example: your problem may be kernel related and you should pull logs and kmsgs if you can duplicate what's happening.)Why? How am I supposed to know where it's coming from? Also why does it matter if I'm posting ABOUT bugs?..... It's just a POST of an issue I'm having, not some virtual ROM crippling factor of doom that causes everyone else from here on out, to never download your ROM again....
I didnt mean to sound rude... Just ment that any altering of kernel or system files can produce bugs itself... Try reverting all changes u have made over how the rom comes then post a bug if it exists... Also if u feel its a kernel issue post the bug in the corresponding kernel threadWhy? Same has happened to me before but not on this rom. After letting it sit for a while on the charger it eventually stopped blinking and took a full charge. Not sure how long it took but it was a long time.
I've been using this rom for a few days now. Today, for the first time since installing the rom, I let my phone run down its battery. For some reason it looks as though it ran the battery completely to 0. I've had it on the charger for a few hours now, and I can't get it to take a charge. I didn't replace the kernal or anything. I'm stuck at a red blinking light when I plug it in. If I plug it in while the battery is out, I get the battery is removed indicator to pop up. If I then place the battery in, I get the battery charging animation, but it never moves away from 0 charge. I never had any problems with my battery before this. It usually lasts me a whole day.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Tether working great and very handy today. Thanks for posting settings. Had to disable access control setting, btw.Added current hangouts with removed sms toast along with wifi tether settings and alternate launchers to op
