has the yellow screen issue been resolved?

I ordered my Oneplus one Sept. 23rd. Just wondering if the yellow screen issue has been resolved by the manufacturer. I have not been able to find an answer to this. Thanks

Yes it has. I haven't heard of anyone having that issue in a while. I don't have it on mines and I've had my 1+1 almost 2 months now

Dizzle seems to be correct. Mine came about 7 weeks ago with no issue. Got one for the wife about 2-3 weeks ago and no issue there either. Good luck and enjoy the phone!

Had on over to OnePlus website forums and you'll see the issue is still happening on some of the more recently shipped units.

Hi, I got an OPO invite last night and I have 15 hours left to buy the phone.

Were it not for the yellow band issue I'd probably have purchased by now.

Tell me, is it any better in new batches or does a software solution alleviate the issue?

There's a guy who wrote an app to help alleviate the yellow banding at the bottom and for most it worked great. I had Lockscreen issues early on and haven't tried it recently.

the yellow band issue was blown out of proportion. all units of the ONE will have a very faint yellow hue at the bottom of the screen due to the screen being lit from the bottom and not from underneath. if you look hard enough you will find a hint of yellowing.

the slight yellowing is typical of most JDI made screens. even the iphones have this "issue". this is demonstrated with pics in this thread.

That's funny, W. If mine has this problem, I can't really tell. I just installed gombosdev's Display Tester and did the bad pixel test on full white. I may perhaps see something at around 20% brightness, but I'm not really sure.

exactly. you can't really tell. you literally have to be on a mission to see it in order to find it. same for my unit. if i look really hard i might be able to make out some discoloration.
