Help camera locking up !!!

Mine lock up for about 2-4 pics then works for about 6 and sometimes 1 or 2. Anyone els having a problem?

I noticed this also. I could take about 3 pics and then on the 4th the cam would lock up right as i took the pic. I could hit the home button and relaunch the camera app, but would just come up to a black screen. I would hit home again and then launch the camera app again and would be back to normal. It has done this to be quite a bit actually.

Now I am thinking about giving them a call also. My only question is are they sending a new phone still? I hope they dont have refubs already.

I have had this issue too but frankly what does a new phone do? It is clearly a software issue.

i had this same problem with my first INC. but mine was also moving the home screen to the left every once in awhile. I took it back to best buy and the verizon rep. happened to be there and i was trying to show him the screen moving on its own but didnt have any luck with that . He said sounded like it was a defective unit. then i also told him about the camera issue and I was able to show him that part and he just said ya its defective.... got a new one and havent had any of those problems since

Update...got a new phone today and the camera works perfect

Is this issue definitely fixed with a replacement phone? Mine locks up a lot, but I just thought it was software. I've also had some random screen movements. Wondering if I should try a replacement.

No random screen movements , but my camera locks up almost every other pic... Im going to give them a call , but i have a invisishield installed and dont want to have to order another one for the other phone if i do go that route.

I've had the problem too. Did you call Verizon or HTC regarding replacement of the phone?

I had same problem and after tinkering around, I finally uninstalled SKYPE and the camera quit locking up and has worked fine eversince.....so IF you hve SKYPE installed or possibly another similar app, try uninstalling and see if it fixes the issue
