Has anyone tried ADW Launcher ? pretty cool ....just now trying so I don't know of any bugs or stuff yet .....

looks nice. im pretty comfortable back on my theme though. downloaded for future possible use though

ya i definitely like my theme ....but decided i'd play with this a little, was worried it would wipe out my theme since it has to be flashed, but all it does is modify homee, so like since i am using a sense based theme, i still have my choice of which to use .....(if that makes sense)

i have tried to use sw2. too difficult for me to use. i wish there was a version i could make on my pc and transfer it to the eris. i could do it then. i still keep it installed and try some things when its slow at work. i may get done with one by the time i get my NE2.

if you want, i uploaded my custom theme to the server, if you do a search by title its under Andrizoid and if you do a search under author its under Andrizoid420

its not 100% finished, theres still a few bugs in the springboards i need to work out, but i freakin love it. it relies heavily on the beautiful widgets and the pure widgets though, might just want to check it out. im using this as the wallpaper which makes it look really nice too.

So it works then? Is it a complete Home replacement?

yea it's a complete home replacement, you will no longer have basic android home .. as this takes the place of .... lot of cool features, cool buttons on botton bar , plus a pull up app dock on the bottom ....and the app drawer also scrolls side to side (but you can change it back to normal up/down scroll) and it has the sense like preview screens if you double tap the home button ....tip though, if you want home to take you back to your middle home screen you need to uncheck "home binding" in the options

I restored and Home works fine. Wondering if there is some conflict switching from Helix to ADW or if it just doesn't like my ROM. Going to try uninstalling Helix an see if I can get it to work.

I think its excellent if you are looking for a Vanilla alternative. It incorporates the positive elements from the Nexus Launcher and Sense (mostly Nexus) that I have been looking for. Definitely faster than any of the ROMs I have tried that are based on the Nexus Launcher as the default launcher. Good find by the OP.

Hey rvparts. Some Of us are having fc issues with adw. maybe you can do us a favor and flash us a fresh flash of yours without any additional app installs, or your personal google account and personal info. upload to a popular online storage service and share it with us.

Man! I got this thing to work on my eev2.01. This thing is awesome. its got that bottom dock ive always wanted.has the 3d launcher like n1, app drawer like samsung 3gs and no force closes do far. I love it. It would totally take over if/when it reaches the market.

Yes, just drag your new app over the bar and it'll replace whatevers there.

ADW is the only home I use now.
