Root Which version of Zengarden?

I'm prepping to switch from froyo Harmonia to Gingerbread ROM with Link2sd, Andy has helped me a lot with instructions...I think I want to switch my recovery to ZenGarden so I can change my partition to ext4 with the recovery, as I can't do it on my Mac. But when I go to the Zengarden download thread, I'm confused about which one to download:

Thanks!

Just download the zengarden-touch-recovery.zip, put it on the root of your sd card (not in any folders) . Then go into your recovery, select install .zip (no need to wipe anything) once installed, select reboot recovery, you will now be in zengarden recovery.

One more question...will my nandroid backups that I make with zengarden go into the clockworkmod folder where my current recovery sends them?

Yes :)

NOTE : Before you flash your new rom, make sure you complete all 4 options under the wipe section. It's been awhile since i used zengarden, but i think it reverts back to the main screen after each option that you do, (just make sure you go back to the wipe section until all 4 options have been done. ;) I screwed up the first time i used it because it setup different than other recoveries.

Good advice, thanks! I also have LeslieAnn's Prep for New Rom wiper as well as Obi John's wiper...never used it yet, LOL...maybe I should use all of them? haha...

OH, and would you happen to know at which point in the process I should make the ext4 partition with the Zengarden recovery? Thx!

Well, if you read the zengarden thread, earthnfire78 says that there is really no need for any additional wiping. I personally don't think it's necessary, but it couldn't hurt. In zengarden i found that the 4 wipe options were sufficient. As for other recoveries, like CWM i always wipe everything 3x,but that's just me. ;)

As for when to create the ext 4 partition, i think andy explains it in his links2sd tutorial. Sorry i can't help you there, i've never found the need to use links2sd, i only run about 30 apps and still have 126 mb left on internal running MiRaGe rom :)

How many apps do you have? And how often do you use them all, might be time to clean some unused ones out or freeze them? But if you use a lot of apps, that's why links2sd was created. :)
