Hmmmmm that is interesting. I am using the exact same Gapps you are and the tick under sound settings does nothing even after reboot.. One thing of note is , I am using the 7/30 version of the Gapps. Not really sure if that makes a difference? Which version do you use?
BTW............I downloaded the Camera Sound Settings APP from the play store as Biaviian recommended and it works 100%.

Glad you got it working... But truthfully you shouldn't have to download a separate app to to untilize the function.
Currently Im using the DU TBO 8/10 Gapps package and I'm about to update to the newest version - 09/28 Gapps and see how that goes.

Edit:
I see that they got the PlayStore Blacked out again with the new DU TBO Gapps 9/28... Nice :)

Hey Josh. I was playing around with settings this morning and decided to try the status bar weather.

Can you tell me what the weather header option does? I assumed that it would maybe add a temperature or weather icon to the status bar but it doesn't seem to change anything for me.

The notification option adds a notification as expected.

It should add a header in your notification shade that displays local weather. Works closely with location, so if you don't have it on - nothing will display.

Anyone having charging issues? I find when trying to charge while the phone is on, it is SUUUPPPEERRR slow and will only get up to 70% or so after a full night. Sometimes it seems like it is not charging at all. I've hooked it to the charger (phone on) and have woken up to it charging up with the phone off. (it had first died and then begun charging while powered down).

I use this charger and it's ridiculously fast.

I tend to use my stock wall charger at night and when I need a full charge up on the device.
When I need a little boost throughout the day, I'll put it on my wireless charger. I personally don't like to use the wireless charger for long or extended periods of time as it seems to heat up the back of my N5 to where it's pretty warm to the touch. I'm sure this is quite normal... But I like to play it safe and not overheat it.

Hmmmmmmmmm.....................thought I was the only one reasoning like that. Exactly what I do. My N5 gets pretty hot while on a wireless charger also. Thought it was the charger but was unwilling to buy another and waste money.
My phone charges pretty darn quick on my stock charger. Also with the great battery life running DU it helps a ton :)

Admittedly... I dirty flashed the latest 10/07 Test Build last night and was experiencing odd FC's on just about every app. Everything ran fine but any app that I would try to open would FC.
So I dirty flashed back to the 10/02 Test Build and all is well.
It might just be time for me to do a clean install and clean out any of the old dust and cobwebs that are left in the corners! ;)

I probably need to do a clean install too, but what I have found is that the last couple of times, both with this and the Grouper version, when I first reboot from flashing I get one or another "X stopped working" messages spawning but if I do a simulated battery pull it reboots and everything is fine. I'm now doing the simulated battery pull after reboot from flashing as routine. Every thing is silky smooth after that.

Maybe I'll do a clean install this week-end and see if it is any different.

flashed the latest stable after a 3 week break from all things root. Gotta say it's good to be back on DU.

One thing I've noticed is these arrows in the navbar when I'm typing. I know I've seen a similar option in other custom ROMs, but I cant seem to find a way to disable it here.

Any ideas?
Dirty tweaks>miscellaneous tweaks>menu arrow keys

I actually like the left and right navibar arrows personaly... It allows you to move your cursor forward or back through your text... I find this a nice feature when typing and getting a misspelled word or you want to move back or forward in the text and make a change or you can't get your cursor to land in that exact spot that you want... you can then just move forward or back with the navibar arrows. Just my 2 cents! ;)
But yes as Brian said... You can disable them in the Dirty Tweaks settings.
