Best App Suggestions for Nexus 5

There are some good lists of apps most people would find useful, but one that's pretty unique to the N5 is a pedometer app. I only recently learned that there is a hardware sensor that uses little battery, and this app just reads the data so it also uses little battery. The count is surprisingly accurate

What apps are you into? Are you wanting to do something in particular? Games? I play a lot of games on my mine! I have a Nintendo emulator and play Mario! Song pop scrabble words with friends are apps I have!

Which Nintendo emulator app are you using? I love Mario!

Hey guys, so you all know I'm a new user to the nexus 5, I was just wondering what apps you guys would suggest to me to get for it? I don't know of any good ones for this gorgeous device, mind sharing? :) thank you all!

The pedometer app is a good one specifically for the N5 and as ohseven said, very little battery drain and pretty accurate. (I stopped using that app on my N5 since my smart watch has one built in) All though occasionally at the end of the month I will get a notice through Google Now for miles walked.
As for any other apps that I could suggest, they would be more root related apps and I don't know if that is the route that you plan on taking with your N5. (Unlocking bootloader, rooting and/or flashing a custom ROM) If so let me know and I can give you a decent little list of root apps that are nice to use and can give you more system access and control, customization and features for your N5.

Here's a list I made in a thread a while ago. It's somewhat still relevant and might be worth a glance to at least give you some food for thought (these are all utility type apps): http://androidforums.com/nexus-5/82...useful-apps-nexus-5-rooting-not-required.html

Of course I recommend rooting your Nexus 5 too. There are various ways to do it as well as custom ROMs (OSs) you might want to check out, but here is a nice and simple way to while keeping everything nice and stock: http://androidforums.com/nexus-5-al...-5-easy-rooting-guide-using-cf-auto-root.html Rooting that way, I'd recommend getting the BootUnlocker app. too to clear the tamper flags and relock the bootloader.

For some decent games that I've liked on my Nexus 5: Anomaly 2, Chess, CHRONO TRIGGER, EDGE Extended, Eufloria HD, FINAL FANTASY DIMENSIONS, Marbelous!, Minecraft - Pocket Edition, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, Prince of Persia Shadow&Flame, Ravensword: Shadowloands 3d RPG, Riptide GP2, Solar 2, Sonic The Hedgehog, The Bard's Tale, and The Room... to name a few. ;)
