Good afternoon...

I'm not overly techie, so I'm not sure I NEED the N4. I'd like to learn what all of this stuff means, but I don't know if I ever will. Does someone who just uses her phone to email, call, text, and surf the web really need all that the N4 offers? Or will I be safe with the S5? I don't want to regret my decision. I've been waiting until Friday to replace my phone so I can walk in and get the N4...my current iPhone is shattered. I don't want to keep waiting for something I may not need.

It really boils down to whether or not you think the size of the N4 is way too big for what you plan to be doing with it.

The S5 is a great device, you won't be disappointed in it. The N4 is a slight upgrade in performance to the S5, better camera and a few other bells/whistles.

But if you like the form factor of the S5 better than the N4, you'll probably be happier with that.

I plan to upgrade from my S4 to the N4. I am looking forward to the larger screen and the S-Pen functionality. I mainly use my phone for calls, emails, text, browsing as well. But I also use it quite a bit out in the field for work, using the camera and evernote for jotting down specs for jobs. So I'm hoping the slightly larger form factor and the S-Pen will improve the functionality in this area.

I should add that I also use my phone to read. I had an iPad and traded it in for a laptop. I think the larger screen will be better for reading. I love the idea of the S Pen and all the options, just don't know that I will use it. I played a bit with it today at Best Buy, and while it's big...it wasn't overwhelming.

If music is a priority, the S5 has better output than the N4 from the audio jack. Waiting for reports that the sound can be increased with Poweramp, or I will pass on the weak a$$ output of the N4. I am looking forward to people with 18 ohm and up headphones to hear what I did. Weak output.

I play a video at Best Buy Store volume half way it was really loud in my option. I cannot see it weak speakers wired.... saying this with my option....
