Hey guys, I've browsed around for a bit but I ended up making an account finally to post about an issue I personally am having.

I broke my S5 a few weeks ago, after fight and fight and fight with SquareTrade I finally got it back to me. However, I slipped my sim card in and it started right up, and messages were piling it. However, my contacts is absolutely empty. It won't import them from sim card, when I go through the contacts > SIM Management > Import Contacts it shows me a list with 0.

Now this has been my address book for people for years and years and years. Is there a solution for me? Surely I can't have lost all of these important numbers I have been collecting for years?

Also, this is the dumber side of my question, but all images on the old phone and any software downloaded is completely gone and that is based only on the phones drive itself correct?

Hello and welcome to the forums. Can I ask how did you backup the contact with Google or ms outlook

I've used google for just about everything, but I don't think I've ever backed my contacts up to. However google is pretty connected to my phone, I don't know if it automatically does that, but if it does..I give them permission for everything usually.

I do not use the outlook app.
