Installed Wrong Rom and device not being recognized

Android Question

Device: GT-n8013 Samsung note 10.1
So I downloaded a stock firmware, turned out it was for note 2 (I think someone posted wrong link) and I flashed it with mobile odin. So now, It shows note 2 at startup and then a black screen. That's it. I am able to go into download mode but that won't do much since I am still unable to get the tablet connected to my pc. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply Selena. However, I did find that post earlier, but the problem is that I can't connect my tablet to my pc since I get the message "USB device not recognized". I initially had that problem when I had the custom rom installed. That is why I was trying to install the stock rom, with odin, and once I downloaded the rom (wrong one, thinking it was right of course), i flashed it with mobile odin. So now i'm stuck with a black screen or download mode which is not useful since I can't even connect to the pc. I think this tablet is done,no fix for it.

Try other cables and computers.

the computer is recognizing the tablet as a phone the note 2 not the note 10.1 that you have, I would recommend that you download and install the drivers for the note 2 WHILE leaving the ones for the 10.1 still on your computer to see if you can get odin to work that way and if not you can try mobile odin, downloading the firmware straight to your device flashing it from the tablet its self (I haven't ever tried mobile ODIN so I am not sure how it all works) maybe someone else on can add more if you decide to go down that route

I didn't think about the note 2 driver, great idea! However, i can't install mobile odin because the device will not boot. Shows "Samsung Note 2" at startup and then black screen. But I will try the note 2 driver. Thanks.

I hope it works for ya :D keep us informed
and if the note 2 drivers are a bust you can try the Samsung Naked ADB drivers as well
