Im curious tho, In the hands on video they say its a LCD QHD display, but in fact, on Motorola's website, it says its a AMOLED screen, just like the Note 4 they are comparing it to.

Well, both phones are pretty massive, but the Nexus 6 isn't that much bigger than the Note 4, so for me it's kind of a wash there. Looks like I'll have to hit up one of the local phone stores this week for some hands on time with the Note 4 (and iPhone 6 Plus) to get an idea on what it would be like to handle the Nexus 6.

From what I've read, that was just a prototype and not the final version of the phone. So the screen will be better than what he's talking about. It will definitely have the QHD AMOLED display that's on Motorola and Google's websites.

I noticed that as he was holding the phone, the phone had that little dimple on the back of it and the official Nexus 6 does not.

I have the Note 3 right now and was actually considering getting the Note Edge to try something different, while still having the big screen.

Then they announced the Nexus 6 and completely shut the game down! I haven't looked at the Note Edge again after this phone was announced.

I'm 99% sure this is going to be my next smartphone. The size is a concern, but only as far as pocketability goes - I prefer larger screen devices (my previous laptop had an 18.4" screen, and my current desktop has a 27" screen), as it just makes it so much easier when browsing the web, viewing videos, etc. I think I'll just have to get used to toting around such a large device, but other than that I don't think there's any compromises that I'll be making (or at least, ones that matter to me).

I was laying in bed trying to think if I want the note 4 or the Nexus 6 from my note 3. I can live with no removable battery, I have a 43 gig note 3 and I dont even have a memory card in it, I have plenty of space left. I upload everything to dropbox, so things rarely stay on my phone for very long, the non removable battery is a bit of a deal breaker, I do like being able to remove the battery when it freezes up or whatever, I don't keep phones long enough for the life of a battery to be a factor, Itll have plenty of charge-discharge cycles left when im done with the phone, so its not a huge deal to me that its not a user replaceable battery. I think the biggest con for me coming from the note to the Nexus 6 is that ill lose the S pen. I dont use it all that often, but when I do need to use it, is nice to have.

ughhhhhhhh I do need to see both before I decide...

Man..... I have been sold on getting the midnight blue of the Nexus 6. After seeing the white version, it's got me scratching my head and got me interested. I will have to see the midnight blue version as well before I decide on the color.

Those pictures of the phone on the verge website tho... Got me wanting the phone even more.

I feel that! I'm with you. I know for a fact that I will have this phone on day one.

I have an upgrade on November 29th, but if this phone comes out before that, hopefully Verizon will be kind enough to let me upgrade a couple weeks early. Lol

I doubt it will matter, tho, id be shocked if Verizon releases their SKU at the same time as everyone else.

I was thinking that too hahaha. Knowing them, their Nexus will come out later than every other carrier, but then they will say that they have exclusive stuff that the other carriers don't have. In other words, bloatware... Smh lol

I really hope Google holds their ground on the Bloatware. AT&T loves themselves some bloatware. . I don't care if they put a few things on the device as long as it can be completely uninstalled like on WP.

Replaceable battery and sd card...I would probably be able to live with the 64gb version but I just can't do a fixed battery.

This phone has got me excited... The only things I don't like are the fixed battery and no SD. I think I have a 32 in my GS3 now, about half full of music, so could probably get by with the 32, and be safe with the 64. My other concern is the size. The Note is about as big as I want to go. the Mega is just too big. Nex6 seems to be only a hare bigger than note, hopefully I can pocket it.

Also, Hopefully Verizon won't screw up their roll out of this phone with Bloat ware and locking it.

I have a 32gb ipod touch for music and 30gb of OneDrive for pictures. A 32gb phone is plenty for my needs .

I'm betting the N6 will beat the Note 4 in every performance benchmark.
